I have absolutely no idea and to be honest at the minute I'm not even that interested - I myself will be a tax-dodging uni student after I finish college, and I too may want to go backpacking round the world. Very few do, and the ones that do are mostly upper-middle-class oiks who daddies paid their way through Uni and have saved up the money from a part-time job.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 February 2007 Posted 21 February 2007 Seriously though, Students get things cheap because even if they do have their fees payed for, the maximum Student Loan is about £4,500 a year (if that) obviously Full time students are suppouse to spend 40 hours a week on their studies (obviously most don't) which doesn't leave much time to get a part time job, the most a Student could work would be about 17 hours a week which would probabley get them another 4 odd Grande meaning they earn around £8,500 a year. Could you live off £8,500 a year, bearing in mind most halls of residence would clean off at least a grand and a half of that.
