ceebeefox Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I remember going on the pitch after the final whistle with my young son and picked up the divot that was caused during a penalty incident ( i think ) this divot is still growing in a pot on my patio and i do my groundsman's bit using scissors!

Asha Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I can remember i took a big chunk of the penalty spot at the end opposite the Kop not quite sure what it was called as i was only 10 at the time and had been to about 3 games in total by that time
Guest seanfox778 Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 i went sat in the middle of the kop as well it was a great day but when i think back it was one of the most boring games i only remember our two goals and the most stonewall penalty ever

Mighty Muzzy Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I was a matchday steward for the game. What a quality day! Sun, atmosphere and a rare City win. Still got the matchday programme, one of my prized possessions.
Scow Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I've got a spare matchday programme from that game if any one wants it.
Mikey Posted 1 March 2007 Author Posted 1 March 2007 Yeh i was only nine at the time and I still have the programme Was Matty Piper's goal a header or a shot. I seem to remember it being a good shot from outside the area but others tell me it was a header. Like I said, I was only nine then Brilliant game. I can still remmerb it to this day
