The People's Hero Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 I started life as a goalkeeper and was pretty good at that, until I just didn't grow enough. I then became a dynamic box to box midfielder. It was in this role that I became a fixture for the Maidstone side. Unfortunately, I soon discovered beer and women and became (or tried to become) a Garry Parker figure, steadfastly refusing to leave the centre circle, spraying balls out of play in all directions. As my demise continued and my fitness waned further, I found myself as a 5" 9 centre back and had to return to playing for Senacre Dolphins as Maidstone no longer saw any use for the unfit, fat loser that I had become. 5 years later, a lot fatter, less fit and no taller, and here I am at your service.
