C-man Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007  Bollocks!! Though some of the damage caused to the back of their stand yesterday was inexcusable.. I fear some posters on this forum were involved in absolutely smashing the metal at the back to pieces by repeatedly kicking it as hard as possible. Not to mention lildave3 breaking 2 chairs by standing on them... I was standing there before these lads came up at full time and kicked it in. The Focking tramps.
Thracian Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 You lot could give Sheehan a game, when we release him. Oh and Tommy 'best player Leicester ever released Tejan-Sie. More sneering at people. Does it ever end - and have you ever even seen Teejay play seeing your pal makes such an issue of it?.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 More sneering at people. Does it ever end - and have you ever even seen Teejay seeing your pal makes such an issue of it?. That doesn't actually make sense but from what I can pick out of it... No, I haven't seen him play. I haven't made a massive issue out of it anyway. I'm not the one who pasts vast essays on him every other week.
Hullfox Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 That doesn't actually make sense but from what I can pick out of it...No, I haven't seen him play. I haven't made a massive issue out of it anyway. I'm not the one who pasts vast essays on him every other week. We all know that qualifies you to write off his career with Leicester though.
Thracian Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 We all know that qualifies you to write off his career with Leicester though. Morning Hullfox. TPH woken you up?. Didn't pick a team yet, I see. Not enough "experience" left to choose from I suppose.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 We all know that qualifies you to write off his career with Leicester though. Hello sir. I wouldn't write him off just as I wouldn't big him up without seeing him. I just think it's handy to retain some perspective here what with Thracian constantly singing his praises. We obviously have some very good youngsters.. whether they make it or not at Championship level, Premiership level, League one level, League two level or lower... who knows? No one does. The fact is Thracian has done this time and time again and where they succeed... he saw it first and he's the all knowing oracle, where he gets it horribly wrong.. he of course isn't wrong, the coaching staff at Leicester and all other clubs who haven't snapped him up are idiots who only value experience and wouldn't know the best attacking midfielder in the world if he volleyed a snapshot in to their face on their weaker (but certainly not weak) mercurial left foot from 85 yards away blindfolded which they do week in week out for the academy anyway. And he'd know.. cos he's watched them. And he coached a team 50 years ago too. Of course all this ability vanishes at age 23 at which point you're not worth bothering with. Which is probably why he doesn't like me, thinking about it.

Not sure if you've noticed what with your crusades but we've got a manager who works with the players day in day out to do that. He can do his job, I'll do mine and as long as he doesn't interfere with my business I'll not pretend like some that I know his job.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 But it's clear that all the manager has to do is sign all the best attacking players in the world and then play them in a fluid system and annihilate all others. It really is this simple (in some people's eyes...)
lcfc_jme Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Get it over it man. If your that desperate to be captain you can be the captain. Sorry Bert didn't realise somebody refused you sex last night. I'll try to be more careful with what I say with regards to you on here in future.

Oh TPH you've got it all sooooo wrong. He doesn't need to sign anyone. They're all playing in the kiddies team. Will you ever learn?
Finnegan Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Not sure if you've noticed what with your crusades but we've got a manager who works with the players day in day out to do that. He can do his job, I'll do mine and as long as he doesn't interfere with my business I'll not pretend like some that I know his job. Following his manager's recent comments to the media, Finnegan believes the two of them have similar characters and will be able to work well together both on and off the pitch.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Oh TPH you've got it all sooooo wrong. He doesn't need to sign anyone. They're all playing in the kiddies team. Will you ever learn? Who'd have thought that all the best players in the world, from Brazil to Russia, Azerbaijan to the Maldives, Arctic to Antarctic are all collected within the Youth Academy setup of a mediocre, East Midlands Championship side. And many of them I believe have been released from other youth set ups.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Anyway - here I am in action. Actually, inaction might be more appropriate. Salivate over these actions shots Coach-Hullfox.

The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 It's the complete package 1) Cross from left flank. Notice complete lack of any defenders, facilitating such a move. 2) Volleyed thunderbolt. (This actually hit the bar). 3) 5 minutes in, injured/feigning injury. Game over.
Finnegan Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Ooooh, the volleyed thunderbolt. That's what it was. ... I thought you were doing the can-can.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 You should be able to make out a goalbound effort (yellow ball)! I think it looks more like that ridiculous warm up that players do these days where they kick as high as they can.
Finnegan Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 I have to say, it does look like you're about to land flat on your arse, whatever you're doing.

Which is probably why he doesn't like me, thinking about it. Apart from more inevitable sneering I've hardly mentioned Teejay, and certainly not in first team terms. That he deserves praise for his pivotal role in midfield for an Academy team which won a title and runners-up spot is obvious but he could well have been released because you cannot easily see a place for him beyond the youth set-up at this time with Wesolowski, Hughes, Porter, and King competing for the midfield places. Not sure why you're decided to have a veiled sneer at my coaching - of which, as so often with you, you know nothing. But considering that I seem to recall you coach/coached cricket - and that even our national team seems pretty naff - I can't imagine you've anything much to be proud of so I'd doubt it's a good road for you to go down.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Looks more like a classic Woolerton hoof over the bar. 5/10 times you're right. 3/10 would be sliced horribly wide. 1/10 I'd miss the ball completely. 1 might go in. Maybe.

I didn't sneer at your coaching. Once again you are misquoting someone and misrepresenting my argument. The veiled point I was making (well spotted) was that your assumption that due to your previous coaching you know more about it than anyone else on here is one we've heard many many times and it leaves a sour taste. I coach both cricket and academic subjects. I don't prepare to be amazing at either, but I provide a service and generally speaking, people tend to be satisfied. That said, I don't come on here pretending I know which 8 year old cricketer is going to be the next best thing or which 5 year old girl is going to be the next poet laureate.
