Bert Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 Just a thought. Hockely farm road has a free pitch with goals in, also New College fields have 5, or 6 sets of goals up and there's no charge for that.

SystonFox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 why dont you use mountsorrel leisure centre? quite cheap for full pitch before 5pm. i'd like to spectate this.
Wezleylowski Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 I would be quite happy to fill in for anyone that drops out for the under 21s just PM me and i will turn up By the way i would not use sorrel leisure center its crap because you cant slide tackle because you will get all cut up. Also tackling with your head is a pain.

FilboFox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Good Luck to the Under 21's! We did something similar at our school. International Baccalaureate vs. A-levels. I do the IB and was in the team but we were up against the big Rugby and Football players on the A-Level team and we lost 3-1 and 6-2 aggregate score of 9-3... pretty dismal but we had fun!

After reading I don't know about just the number of players to a team - perhaps there should be a combined weight limit and average height limit as well ... with penalties for anything over. Wonder where the Over 21's would want the sauna sending!.
Manwell Pablo Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 in the name of fairness both goals should be jumpers.... How would it be unfair? It's 45 minutes each way you plank so we both get to shoot in the pretty goals.
lcfc_jme Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Jumpers for goalposts then?? I see that is a rather old-school way of playing the game. Which should in theory suit the granddads on your team. Expect some highly debatable decisions and controversial moments...
Shum Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Without having to go through all the pages, can someone tell me date, venue and time! Cheers
Alexikokopops Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Kick Off Time: 3pmVenue: Victoria Park, Leicester. There you go Shum Edit: Oh, and the date is the 9th of June.
Bert Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 I've got some metal poles i could bring?? better than jumpers for goal-posts, just they are very thin and weak and if they get hit they will probably get knocked over. They were kids goals. Also very easy to connct.
