Simi Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Oh i rate him aswell, maybe that's why i don't like him.And he's definitely not the finished article, i think he still holds onto the ball too long at times. But when you see what he did to Sunderland you can't really blame the lad. Although the chances of that happening consistently are low.
Joe. Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 He does. But he has got a lot better and releases the ball at the right times now. Also scores some amazing goals! Anyone seen the volley at Cardiff? I think it'd be better for him to stay at Derby for another couple of seasons. He's only 18 isn't he? If Derby get promoted it will be great for him because it will give him and everyone else a chance to see how he can really fair in the Premiership. He's definitely a very good player, he just needs to keep doing what he's doing and keep his feet on the ground.
Bryn Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 When I saw this I expected a cocky twat of a Derby fan come to rub it in. Glad to say I was totally wrong You'll stuff us on Friday. Hopefully, if we can't win or draw, you'll absolutely trash us 8 or 9-0 so RK gets sacked. Before I chastised someone for saying something like that but now I really want RK gone, and if we're going to lose anyway, we may as well get hammered and lose that useless tosser while we're at it.

Bert Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Yeah cheers for that!To be honest, expected a load of abuse from you all! Decent discussion though! Cheers lads We're all lovely on here (except Ultra ) We just get annoyed though when opposition fans come on, giving it the biggun. Which you haven't.
Milan Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 We will and must beat Derby. Misery loves company in the East Midlands, I do not fancy having the option of watching Derby on Sky and MOTD every week.

Simi Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Just don't watch the last 10 minutes of MOTD then! That's the only time we'll be on Or when you get spanked you'll be on first.
joely22 Posted 1 April 2007 Author Posted 1 April 2007 Or when you get spanked you'll be on first. Hehehe exactly... Or when we beat Chelsea at The Bridge!
SystonFox Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 why has nobody stated the fact that we were truely robbed at your place in november? we should of had a goal, if it wasnt a goal it was a pen and a red card 4 ur keeper. if we didnt score the pen so what then i could accept the loss but we were well robbed of a decent goal.

Both teams were quite poor that day, Derby just had the ability and luck of a high- flying to put us to the sword and grab the points

That was too long ago, we've been put through enough terrible performances this season to remember a loss to Derby

Because you werent truely robbed? Maybe you should have had a penalty but you wouldn't have won! End of the day, these things happen in a season. I'd have been pished off if it was us in the same position but both sides were poor that day. We have improved a lot since then.

From what we were last season to this is just amazing. The new board came in and appointed Davies and we never looked back. The new board have spent a lot in transfer money but it has all been worth it. You have a good chaiman in Milan and he will no doubt attract a decent manager. **COUGH** MIKE NEWELL ** COUGH** So the same could happen to you next season.

Bryn Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Btw Joely, what do you know about this supposed rift between Davies and your board?
joely22 Posted 1 April 2007 Author Posted 1 April 2007 doubt it`ll happen to us that quickly.nice u have a board full of derby fans though hey It does help. When they first came in, one of the things Peter Gadsby (Chairman) said was: First comes family, then business and then I suppose your football team. So they have the clubs best interests at heart which is always a bonus. Since day one, they've never given Davies a transfer budget, they've always said that if the right player comes along for teh right price then we'll go for him.# It's nice to know the club's in safe hands though.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Kinell, 70 posts in one evening in what appears to be quite a pleasant collective reply to a Derby fan. Wonders never cease. Basically all you need to know mate is that we are incredibly bad. We'd already perfected the art of not scoring but we seem to now have married that with a beautiful line in letting three or four goals in against the likes of QPR and Stoke. Have fun on Friday. I know I won't.

a-fox Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 its got to be a 1 nil win for us and do you think there will be any trouble like derby away ?
teblin Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I think (or do i mean hope) We might just win on friday. Look at the pattern this season we have had 1 bad month then 1 good month, we have just had our bad month so now for the good one (cluthching at straws really) Derby don't often win at leicester, I work in derby and the guy i work with say they haven't been that good just grind results out. Get fryatt or hume one on one with moore you might have a chance.
