Guest Gist Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I'm feeling pretty pessimistic knowing that Hammond's not even in the squad. Most of our points this season have come with Hamond in the team and we've no-one with any pace to disrupt the comfort of Plymouth's defence. Fryatt seems graveyard quiet generally and Newton seems to have done nothing. Still no apparent creativity. I think you'll find Jarrett reached his peak on Friday but we live in hope. Don't worry Horsfield's on the bench, his pace will turn the game around.
Simi Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 At least Luton and Hull are losing... Southend winning at Preston.
MBK Posted 9 April 2007 Author Posted 9 April 2007 He's not in the squad so he would do well to do a 'job' Not for me he won't.
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 The half-time whistle can't come quick enough for the rest of us either!
Simi Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I can see us conceding in stoppage time. Would not be the first time. Levein lost his job after this game last year....
lildave3 Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I can see us conceding in stoppage time. I can see it staying 1-0, with nothing at all happening in the second half
Thracian Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 The thing is, you've had to wait months to post that, haven't you!?Does that not tell you something? Even Elvis scores from time to time. Both are sh it though. Depends what you're comparing him with but I imagine he's another you've not seen very often. And COG has hardly had any field time all season til his recent move so could hardly have done a lot better. But then you and I will never agree on what makes a useful footballer.
MBK Posted 9 April 2007 Author Posted 9 April 2007 I can see it staying 1-0, with nothing at all happening in the second half Patience guys, these are going to be tired in 2nd half.
MBK Posted 9 April 2007 Author Posted 9 April 2007 I'm off. Next time I check in I still expect you to know our next manager irrespective of today's result. We should win but the level of play is sickening. So enough. In the meantime, do win the friccking game
filbertway Posted 9 April 2007 Posted 9 April 2007 I could never understand why we were so quick to get rid of him except that RK seem to fall out with him over something - and some fans seemed to decide on precious little evidence that he was shit. In fact he was hardly ever given chance to play as a striker. Too slow and not good enough for the league....

In food terms all Kelly ever serves-up on the pitch is gruel and pretty unappetising gruel at that.
