Manwell Pablo Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 And I bet they still turn it down. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2053956,00.html And that picture of him is well funny.
filbertway Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 They should turn it down, I don't want him to leave the premiership And who can realisticly fill the gap that he would leave behind anyway?
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 April 2007 Author Posted 12 April 2007 They should turn it down, I don't want him to leave the premiership And who can realisticly fill the gap that he would leave behind anyway? Ji Sung Park. He wasn't just bought to sell shirts in South Korea was he?........hold on a minute.
Simi Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Ji Sung Park.He wasn't just bought to sell shirts in South Korea was he?........hold on a minute. I really don't see him leaving, not even for that amount of money. Would be a real loss to the premiership.
filbertway Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Ji Sung Park.He wasn't just bought to sell shirts in South Korea was he?........hold on a minute. I wonder how much of the money they have made back off shirt sales They can have Max Gradel for £60,000,000 if they want.
C-man Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I hope they turn it down. He's the best player to watch in the Premiership.
MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 And I bet they still turn it down.http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2053956,00.html And that picture of him is well funny. Makes him look like a freaky alien.

Manwell Pablo Posted 12 April 2007 Author Posted 12 April 2007 he looks like joker (batman) Thats what I thought.
blue blood Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I hope they turn it down. He's the best player to watch in the Premiership. his close ball control running at full speed is second to none - in the world and he is probably the cleanest hitter of the ball in the prem ATM.
blue blood Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Thats what I thought. he defo has his eyebrows done, noticed it a few weeks back
Mort Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 £54MIL.... That is crazy... no player is worth it, somthing really needs to be done about the crazy, barmy, insane money that gets splashed around in football at the moment, if it continues it'll just store up trouble for the future because the game will just become unsuportable, even at Championship level wages are becoming barmy. Still no chance of him leaving Man U, in a season or two i think he might bolt for one of the big European Clubs (probably Real), but not this time around.

Well if he's still yet to sign a contract and someone offers you 54 Million for him, got to be tempting.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 It wouldn't bother me one bit if he went or stayed, he is a great player yes but unless you are Man Utd fan you only see him in the odd live televised game or for 5 mins on MOTD. If Real payed that figure Man Utd would bring in more quality like Kaka for example.
breadandcheese Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 His agent must be the happiest man in the world. "Cristiano, you do the dribbling, scoring, passing, training, tackling, all the other hard work and I'll take my fifteen percent."
Geo V Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 They would be mad to sell him but you get the feeling that it wont be too long before Mr Ego Ronaldo jumps ship and goes to Madrid. I reckon within two years.
Mort Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Well if he's still yet to sign a contract and someone offers you 54 Million for him, got to be tempting. Isnt he still contracted for another season or two (or am i getting him confused with Jose at Chelski?)... either way no one is going to not be tempted by that kinda money, but it just seems... well... unhealthy, frankly... nothing i can do about it though

By which time he'll be 25 and can leave for free, Ronaldos price tag will heavily decrease every season he gets closer to being out of contract, if he doesn't go this summer or next summer than that will be the last chance they have to get 54 million for him, assuming he doesn't sign a new deal.
Master Fox Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 £54m !!! I think they may consider selling him for that amount. Imagine he went to Real for £54m and then in his first game gets really badly injured and doesn't play for 2 years
Dr The Singh Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 £54m !!! I think they may consider selling him for that amount. Imagine he went to Real for £54m and then in his first game gets really badly injured and doesn't play for 2 years It's nearly as ludicrious as someone\team paying 125k (i think it was) for Josh Low!!!
Master Fox Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 It's nearly as ludicrious as someone\team paying 125k (i think it was) for Josh Low!!! Or £250,000 for Elvis. Just out of interest, how the hell will Madrid manage to raise £54m for just one player? It’s bizarre
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2007 Author Posted 13 April 2007 Or £250,000 for Elvis.Just out of interest, how the hell will Madrid manage to raise £54m for just one player? It’s bizarre They make over 200 million a year net profit. They're the richest club in the world.
Master Fox Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 They make over 200 million a year net profit. They're the richest club in the world. I see. But still £54m for one player is absurd
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2007 Author Posted 13 April 2007 I see. But still £54m for one player is absurd Well, he's just signed an extension so thats that over with. www.teamtalk.com (I love that picture)
