Lineker's Left Foot Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 According to RL, Wortho had them out again on the pitch after the game last night. Sounds a silly question but "What would it have been about?"
FilboFox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 To teach them how to play football preperly... its a distinct possibility.
Suffolk_fox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Checking the stands for spare change? To be fair, I've seen them do it before, under CL if I remember rightly. Got told to move along by a steward (me that is, not the players. That would be silly.)
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 Post match warm down? Well the reporter stated it in a way as if it was due to a general poor performance.
Suffolk_fox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Well the reporter stated it in a way as if it was due to a general poor performance. I know, media hype. Makes ya sick don't it?
Dames Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Warm down more than likely. The blokes trying to get these bunch of drunks fit enough to keep us up. Good on him.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Well the reporter stated it in a way as if it was due to a general poor performance. Must have been Barber, he's well known for sensationalizing stuff like that. After all, he gets all excited when we nearly score, but less so when we actually score...
JoeyB Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 well i was drinking playing bingo and watching a lion king musical at my hotel so i'm glad i missed the last 2 matches!!! at least derby wont go up
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 well i was drinking playing bingo and watching a lion king musical at my hotel so i'm glad i missed the last 2 matches!!!at least derby wont go up Who was covering in the chippy?
blue blood Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 i cant remember if we did it under levin but not under kelly and unless the players waited for like 30 mins post match they did not do it against norwich. under kelly the odd player would warm down, joey would be out after every match. the group warm down looks like a new thing which will speed up recovery times (like they need to recover) but it is a new fitness thing, im sure of it

Barber is a knob, I take my earphones and hook up to rl when down the City. The other night he made so many spectacular blunders.... the best was when it was passed on to him that Luke Moore had scored for Villa, then he said, 'yes, Luke Moore, I remember when he was on loan at City a couple of seasons ago.....' Thats Stef Moore you absolute toss pot.
Koke Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Checking the stands for spare change? As a steward. you wont believe the amount of stuff we find after the game has finished and everyone has gone.
blue blood Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 I've seen Cada's doing it before he went on loan and after he came on as a late sub. step in the right direction (no pun intended) if they are all dong it
blue blood Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Yeah, just a drinking ban and we will be set. shame its a season too late.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 I thought a post match warm down was integral activity for any profressional football team, no bloody wonder we play like a bunch of stiffs every week.
Fac51 Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 shame its a season too late. Nils Eric Johansson was in O Bar an hour after the match with Tom from Kasabian drinking lager.
