00rawat Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Get over it And as for Rawat, why? Don't like Man U thats why everyone supports them so I am glad they lost and I can go wind up some my mates who support Man U . Thats why.
Sods Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Anyone see Gattuso going crazy at paul scholes give him the willy puller sign and the middle finger. He was pumped up, drugs is my suspiction
Koke Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Andy Gray is getting on my focking nerves I swear. One day I'll probably smash the TV. He was so biased it was unreal. I swear. Focks sake man. Someone gotta sack this guy. Dont care who, just get him off my box. Damn it.

Floating Fox Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I would like to announce my love for Gattuso Cherrio Ferguson you dirty scumbag.
Koke Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 U should have watched it on that ESPN link American commentators I wanted to put it on mute. But then I'll lose the atmosphere in the ground. So I was stuck with this biased ****. Bastard.
Flynny Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Didn't see it. Were Man U poor or AC superb, or a bit of both? If Man U weren't too bad then it doesn't bode too well for Liverpool in the final.
C-man Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Man Utd were shocking tonight. Vidic, Heinze, Brown, O'Shea, Carrick, Ronaldo, Giggs, Rooney, Fletcher. Absolutely awful, never turned up, must have been the rain Gattuso was sensational, and good luck to them in the final (although I still want the Scousers to do em), a sheer quality side.
Joe. Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I would like to announce my love for Gattuso Cherrio Ferguson you dirty scumbag. Gattuso's crazy! :w00t: He was brilliant tonight though, a top player

Milan were superb. Awsome. They kept the ball very well, and had the midfield on lock down literally. On this performance, I can see them crush Liverpool. And Andy Gray was ranting about how poor United was, which made Milan look even better. Fock off you twat.
Floating Fox Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Gattuso's crazy! :w00t: He was brilliant tonight though, a GOD
lildave3 Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I feel for United, they were on top form and then tonight it sounds like it all fell apart. Of course injuries didn't help.
Joe. Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I feel for United, they were on top form and then tonight it sounds like it all fell apart. Of course injuries didn't help. The injuries didn't help yes but they still had a team capable of winning tonight. Ronaldo found himself constantly isolated and he was marked out the game totally. It really was just one of those nights for United. Ah well, better luck next year eh? Second thoughts, probably not actually...

Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I feel for United, they were on top form and then tonight it sounds like it all fell apart. Of course injuries didn't help. Tits to that. It's all well and good beating Bolton at home but if you can't beat AC Milan over two legs then you won't win the European Cup. The difference between the two sides was that Kaka could score two great goals effortlessly at Old Trafford (which I think he would have been able to do even with a fully-fit Vidic and Ferdinand there) but Rooney and Ronaldo couldn't do anything comparable tonight.
Joe. Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I didn't actually watch the game tonight but I presume Gattuso was man marking Ronaldo by what's been said? Was anyone tightly marking Kaka? Gattuso was just everywhere, not really marking Ronaldo in particular. The Man Utd defence was exposed so many times, Kaka just finding space too much as he does.
Thracian Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 If I hadn't seen as much as I could stand of that I wouldn't have believed Manchester United could play that badly. Talk about tactically annihilated. It was worse that watching Kelly's capers.

Daggers Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 They'd have beaten them if they'd had a decent manager like, oh I don't know...someone like Worthington
Thracian Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Gattuso strikes me as one of those players that annoys everyone, but is bloody brilliant. Every team needs a genuine thug who can be detailed to neutralise people like Gattuso - and I don't mean unfairly. When I was managing we had a guy called Neil Stewart. He was a hod carrier at the time and spent all day carrying bricks up ladders. He rarely fouled anyone but would tackle em like a Centurion Tank. He could play a bit too when he got the ball but Terminating was what he really enjoyed - taking on the opposition's resident hardcase and turning him to pulp. United seem to have no-one like that. Carrick and Fletcher looked more like tourists than competitive footballers. In fact virtually the entire United side looked like tourists All their characteristic drive and efforvescence was absent.

I disagree. In this day and age a central midfielder needs to be a complete player. Liverpool have three in Alonso, Gerrard and Mascherano and in recent weeks the "destroyer", Sissoko, has been omitted from the team due to his one dimensional play. He simply cant pass or score goals! If you play a player like Gattuso then you need to have narrow midfielders like Chelsea and Milan do and IMO that then leads to narrow games and more boring football. Back to tonights game. United didnt cope with the conditions and there big time players like Carrick. Ronaldo and Scholes didnt play to the level that they can. Yes the likes of Gattuso didnt let them have it there own way but today was a case of United under-performing and the rest is history. Milan will be attempting to avenge there defeat against Liverpool but heres hoping the scousers do it for England!!
SystonFox Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 milan were fantastic. kaka just finds so much space its unreal. better player than ronaldo undoubtedly. all ronaldo has is crazy pace and stepovers and the fact he doesnt dive as much anymore. willy puller. gonna be a great final again. come on the pool!

But Gattuso neutralised United's left flank, Ferguson did nothing about it and it was like having one engine of an aircraft removed. Coupled with Rooney being abyssmal first half, United looking like fairies in midfield and defenders who could have inspired a toast for "absent friends" cos their heads weren't there all night and you had the football equivalent of suicide.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 I think Gattusso and PIRLO are the perfect pair, one without the other would not be half as effective. I think thats why Pirlo didn't leave in the summer. Would Hargreaves and Carrick do a similar job, I think it's worth a go for England. Carrick Hargreaves Gerrard Lennon Cole Rooney

And don't do what you usually do George and say "he's that kind of, but he's but not really" Javier Mascherano is a midfielder who wins back the ball and breaks up play.
