Jonesy_rules Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 We need to sign on a perm' HENDRIE Him and Oakley in Centre Mid will stand us in good shape for next season (whatever division we are in). As for players be good to bring in, depends where we are (division wise) Lafferty would be a quality buy though!
dandannieldanok Posted 9 April 2008 Author Posted 9 April 2008 Miralem Sulejmani and Pavle Ninkov would do nicely. Who

Good job I looked before posting, I was going to import exactly the same link. Nicholson would be good down here and so would Miller if he decides to go. Not seen much of the others but I'm sure they're worth a look.

Zingari Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 HOTLINE - Foxes hope to be Wel on way to deal EXCLUSIVE BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE By Alan Nixon Manchester United's sensational young striker Danny Welbeck is wanted on loan for a year by Ian Holloway's Leicester City. The canny Foxes have already made an approach to ask if the England prospect could join them for a full season as part of his development. Welbeck could follow Hull loanee Fraizer Campbell's eye-catching progress at Championship level from United. Welbeck is pencilled in to figure for United in pre-season friendlies as the next part of his promotion towards stardom. Ferguson likes Holloway, who took a couple of players from Manchester United during his Plymouth days - and that relationship may be key to the possible deal. Holloway, however, is battling to stay in his job. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/tm_...-name_page.html

You're not one to spread rumours are you? None of those will actually happen, dream on.
SamL Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 RICKIE LAMBERT-Bristol rovers He has a great surname. Coincedently, he has the saame surname as me.

SamL Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I'm not sure whether its been said but I can't be bothered to trawl through 65 pages but Darren Huckerby would be a good shout. He's out of contract in the summer and looks set to leave. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ich/7358178.stm

Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I'm not sure whether its been said but I can't be bothered to trawl through 65 pages but Darren Huckerby would be a good shout. He's out of contract in the summer and looks set to leave. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ich/7358178.stm I would take him as long as we don't buy many more oldies, he's still got ability at this level. But with N'Gotty, Hayles, Clapham, Howard, Henderson, Clemence, Oakley and Hendrie all over 30 we need to be careful we aren't filling our team with players whose stamina has gone.
Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Nicky Maynard has struggled to find any form since breaking his leg - hence Crewe being in the position they are now due to not scoring enough goals.Luke McCormack - I wouldn't mind him but can be a bit indecisive. David Vaughan - How has he been playing in Spain? Quality hat-trick from him on Saturday. The boy has a bright future irrespective of his broken leg.
Vennegoor10 Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Yep Maynard seemed to be back to his best extremely quickly, wouldn't be suprised if a CCC team picked him up in the summer.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 April 2008 Author Posted 21 April 2008 Quality hat-trick from him on Saturday. The boy has a bright future irrespective of his broken leg. He has got the ability to finish 99% of one-on-one situations, an attribute this club hasn't seen since Dickov and arguably Connolly when in-form. Crewe don't normally step in the way of their players moving to a higher levels so I'd be surprised if anyone had to pay a 7 figure sum.
escape2victory Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 Casper Ankergren, Anthony Gerrard, Jason Puncheon, Lee Frecklington. Some lower league alternatives
breadandcheese Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 Quality hat-trick from him on Saturday. The boy has a bright future irrespective of his broken leg. I wouldn't mind us splashing the cash for Maynard. It's crazy to think we spent £1.5 mill on Howard and Maynard's probably valued at £1 mill. Execellent player, who would be a great signing. Wouldn't mind us trying to sign Gary Roberts from Crewe either. I think he's a good player as well and another one with a good future.
i luv u foxes Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 Casper Ankergren, Anthony Gerrard, Jason Puncheon, Lee Frecklington. Some lower league alternatives yes and hopefully we may stay up next season. they are not the players we should be looking at sign to push forward not to sure about this maynard would prefer to sign someone whos proven at level were playing in at the moment
Geo V Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 I'm not sure whether its been said but I can't be bothered to trawl through 65 pages but Darren Huckerby would be a good shout. He's out of contract in the summer and looks set to leave. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ich/7358178.stm It`ll be nice to sign a player or 5 that has got a his peak to come in his career though. We seem to be getting far too many players whose bets days are behind them and someone like Huckerby is only effective using his main attribute (pace) and he cant be getting quicker now he is into his 30s!
David Guiza Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 Darren Huckerby David Bell Lee Hendrie Diomancy Kamara Iain Harte Aaron Maclean Marton Fulop Niel Clement Isiah Osbourne , whatever that Villa guy name is David Connoly We would win the league if we signed then
