maddog Posted 29 February 2008 Posted 29 February 2008 Aaron McLean I really like this guy. He's scoring goals, is strong pacy and a finisher. It would be a big gamble to sign him in the summer, he may not be good enough for the Championship like Billy Sharp, but it's one i would take. A super player. Get him in, in the summer.
Super Arj Posted 29 February 2008 Posted 29 February 2008 Wigan boss Steve Bruce has been forced to shelve plans to send Julius Aghahowa out on loan. The Nigeria striker has struggled to make an impact at The JJB Stadium following his £2million move from Shakhtar Donetsk in January last year. A number of Championship clubs were monitoring his situation with Bruce keen for the forward to get more action under his belt. But Aghahowa's lack of games at Wigan mean that it is unlikely he would be granted a work permit elsewhere. Bruce said: "It's a nightmare. It would be ideal if he could go out somewhere and get used to playing in England." ( sky Sport) Knowing Ollie we're one of the clubs who want him I use this guy on pes 2008 with Nigeria and he is incredible( note to pes players - BUY HIM!! ) Surely his pace down the right will solve that problem... and he can cross... and shoot ( according to pes stats which never fail to impress ) I think he will be a good signing if we get him
General Smuts Posted 29 February 2008 Posted 29 February 2008 Like it says wed have big difficulties in getting him a work permit but he would be untold good imo.

Maybes Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 Yep He already has a conditional work permit doesn't he? Meaning that to stay in the countri he has to play a certain amount of games while that permit is running ...I think anyway.
Telf Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 Ben Foster is available for loan. With Alnwick out for rest of March I think we should go for him or we might already have tried as it says some championship and league one teams have enquired. As he cannot go to a premiership team I think we could get him. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11667_3255147,00.html

Joe. Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Lee Hendrie. Sam Vokes. Two players realistically we could get in my opinion and two who would be good additions to our squad.
