mat_j101 Posted 11 May 2007 Posted 11 May 2007 I was just speaking to a backroom staff member at Leicester, and apparently quite a few people refer to him as Colin, because if you take Colin out of his name, you are left with willy puller!! I think that is fantastic

mat_j101 Posted 11 May 2007 Author Posted 11 May 2007 Oh - I feel bad now. Still, it's made me laugh for today.
davieG Posted 11 May 2007 Posted 11 May 2007 Oh - I feel bad now. Still, it's made me laugh for today. Don't feel bad it's still funny. and more importantly appropriate. Colin willy puller
lookwhaticando Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I like him. I'm going to be reprimanded over that... I might even lose my magic powers.
Simi Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I like him. I'm going to be reprimanded over that... I might even lose my magic powers. I like him aswell
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I do understand why some people CAN like him. At least he's passionate, right? I suppose it's the same way people like Mourinho, amusement or something. I, personally, however, think they're both a plague on football.
Geo V Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I think its en vogue to rip Warnock apart but he is honest, hard working and succesful. I think his pre and post match interviews are priceless. Im a fan of him although he has let me down this season as he is quite chilled out and I was expecting him to go mental more often
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 Honest? The man's a shit and a cheat. Wasn't it Warnock that started feigning his player's "injuries" to pull them off and get a game called off because he was losing? He's a moaning, whinging, narrow-minded, conceited little man.
I8AM Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I hated him a few years ago............always moaning and a right nuisance on the touchline. But in the prem he's seems to have chilled out and enjoyed it and whilst he is still animated he knows he is in the company of the big boys. It seems he let the pressure get to him when trying to get promotion. Achieved the dream. Was bookies fav for drop, so took the pressure off him.
Bert Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 He has changed big time this season and he's proved to me that he's not all bad and has a decent sense of humour.
Thracian Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 He has changed big time this season and he's proved to me that he's not all bad and has a decent sense of humour. Quite agree. He's been a breath of fresh air on the telly, even seeing the funny side when he's had a bad day. Definitely one of the game's more colourful characters.
Sly Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 He's the sort of manager you love when he's your manager. I like the bloke though, I enjoy watching his interviews, he calls it how he see its. Even if it is sometimes through tinted glasses.
Matt Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 He's a twat (Although he has kept fairly quiet this season) but you can't deny he's not a bad manager!
sdb Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 i've heard him being refered to as that but never knew why he's mellowed this year but i still think he's an arrogant tw@t right up his own backside
Thracian Posted 12 May 2007 Posted 12 May 2007 I've never understood why he likes to collect forwards. Perhaps cos he heard Rob Kelly was collecting defenders!
Leonisco Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 He's an utter fooking tosspot. He's all smarm and smiles now he's in the premiership and more people are watching, but when we beat his shit team FAIRLY AND SQUARELY to promotion a couple of years ago he blatantly tried to stab us in the back. I will NEVER forgive him for that. :@
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I like him, but then I like Sheffield United as a whole. There's a lot you don't hear about through the national media that would really make you warm to them if you had a sense of humour, I suppose an extension of the "collecting forwards" thing. The bottom line is that he is a massive Blades fan and his whole life has been leading up to this season. When something matters that much to someone, it's nice to see these days.
Mort Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 In all fairness WestHam deserve to go down because of the Tevez issue, that said if they came down they'd make the money Brum splashed in the championship this season look like small change and they'll probably have little trouble going straight back up... so in the medium to long term its better for us for a club like Sheff Utd to go down.
Matt Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Sheff Utd going down as it stands, Anyone think Warnock will be saying West Ham were safe thanks to immoral justice done by not docking 10 points?! A La Leicester adminstration saga? Tbh, West Ham do deserve points docked, IF West Ham were safe when the descisions were made I reckon it would have been a different story and there may have been points docked but as they were in trouble they just got a hefty fine (Which with a new owner with money they could afford and also 5.5m to me just seems as part of the transfer fee.) C'Mon Utd (Manchester and Sheffield)
