Nationwider Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 The Futureheads - Hounds of loveTop tune  66998 Got to agree, is rather special. 67093 Wouldn't have picked it as a song you could attempt to cover in a million years, but it really works. Top record.
TrickyTrev Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 Can't say i'm impressed, not really anything to shout about there. Obviously tons better than the shite that gets played during the day, with the exception of a few - GLC & Gorillaz A good DJ will not play songs to suit YOUR tastes they will play the songs that they like, no one can accuse Zane Lowe of not doing that. I happen to find him annoying and wish Lamacq still had that slot but I respect the fact he plays interesting music that you may not get to hear elsewhere. Radio 1 ha salways been crap, with the exception of John Peel and sometimes Steve Lamacq. If I have to listen to the radio I chose XFM, which is much better, but its London area only I am afraid. In the modern day and age there is not much place for Radio anyway, if I wan tot hear a new track I invaribly use the internet.

Guest Guest Posted 24 February 2005 Share Posted 24 February 2005 Some people might hang me for posting this, but I am in sort of a retro-drum'n bass-ambient-mood. Here are my favourites at the moment: - Photek: Ni Ten Ichi Ryu Classic. Probably Rupert Parkes' finest piece ever made. - Ken Ishii: Extra The video clip and this song blew my mind ten years ago. A masterpiece. - Ishino Takkyu: Rising Suns Very relaxing. Bring on the pot then!
