holly Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Gutted but could of been worse Forest could of come up 2 and leeds could of stayed up. They wont last there unless they spend alot of money bringing in quality. There team isnt quick enough IMO, hope they get less points than Sunderland when they came down last season
Ultra Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Bollucks are they Try and think of a side that's been worse. Even the Sunderland side under Mick McCarthy had more quality than they do..
NFFC Chris Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Officially worst season ever now .I suppose it's good for East Midlands football but I don't want it to be like this.I want you guys to go up next season and D*rby to go down with record points!

Brainy Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Try and think of a side that's been worse.Even the Sunderland side under Mick McCarthy had more quality than they do.. I think its more to do with Derby being a good side. Jones, Barnes, Howard, Teale, Moore, Leacock, McEvely. They might not be much use next season in the Premiership, but they've done something right this year.
Brainy Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 So basically, Derby are shit, and its a fact, because they're our rivals and we hate them. Ah, right, I Get it

They might not be much use next season in the Premiership, but they've done something right this year. Out of these you have four Premiership rejects, a rookie with dodgy knees and two geriatric thugs with the mobility of an arthritic sloth. I doubt they'll be giving Rooney, Drogba, Henry and Gerrard any sleepless nights.. I've seen many playoff winners (including us in 1994) come straight back down. Trust me, Derby will do exactly the same. It has nothing to do with them being our rivals, and everything to do with the fact they just won't be good enough.

Unit Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 What are the odds on them doing the straight up straight down?
Ultra Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 13-8 favourites on Betfair. Get on now! It's a licence to print money...
Bryn Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 Can't say I'm particularly arsed, they're not gonna stay up and I think we should be concentrating on ourselves rather than giving them the satisfaction of thinking we give a rat's ass.

lcfc_jme Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 I actually wanted to smash my TV when the fulltime whistle went yesterday. I was gutted to say the least. But it's fine by me because I really can see Derby taking a few beatings next season if they do not make significant improvements in their side. They're actually not a very good team at all. Sure, they finished 3rd in the league, but really, they haven't played great football and there's nothing too special about them at all.
Maybes Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 Hhahahahahahaah watford of the prem next season. Frigin shaggers
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 We'll have to grin and bear it tonight. But look on the bright side - think of all the hidings that side will get in the Premier League next year. Davies will be proved to be out of his depth - his tactics of thuggery, diving and hoofball will be sussed out by teams a lot stronger than he's faced this season. I predict here and now Derby will struggle to reach 30 points. They're the worst team in a decade to reach the top flight. At the minute they are, theres a chance they'll stick togther a half decent side together before the start of the season.
Phube Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 I must say I feel sorry for the Forest fans... Not only did they throw away a 2-0 lead in their play-offs, but now there bitterest rivals are TWO whole leagues above them!!! Lets all spare a thought!!! lol

Lets all spare a thought!!! lol Derby are no longer a construct on the Championship page on the ever reliable Teamtalk site, they are Prmeier League say they are Premier League. I still can't quite believe we won't be playing them next season in the league. Hopefully we'll get one of Derby or Forest in one of the cup competitions. or maybe both!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 Funnily enough while I was in NZ the whold of the derby squad inc Billy Davis was in my local watching the Champions League final. Apparently Leacock was dressed like ICE T <chuckles>.
Joe. Posted 29 May 2007 Posted 29 May 2007 I'm going to miss the derby games next season. Fecking Coventry's going to be 'the' derby now....
