The People's Hero Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Plus Chris Moyles is about as funny as root canal surgery. He must be the favourite to take over? Amen to that. Moyles - you're a tart.
Joe. Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Can't say I'm bothered, AM was always rubbish imo. Get out. Get out now. Soccer AM will not be the same without him.
lildave3 Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Gonna be interesting to see how the new guy does. Who is it?
JoeyB Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 that person from the friday night sports one or whatever
lildave3 Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 that person from the friday night sports one or whatever Goldstein? He's alright.
Geo V Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Gonna be interesting to see how the new guy does. I think the show could cope without Lovejoy as that dude who does the Sport AM show is quite funny. The problem is that Looooooooooooooovejoy has apparently taken alot of the big boys from the show with him like Fenners, Tramp and Sheephead. I maytune in for a short while before departing for Leicester but I have a feeling it will be painful viewing. It will be as painful as when Dallas swapped over Miss Ellie for a season.
Brainy Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 I'll definately be watching it but i've heard others like Fenners and Tubes have left also?
Libertine Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Wow Goldstein's boring. Soccer AM has been shit for a while now, but it was great for a saturday morning before a match. Will last a few more years if that I imagine.
Tommeh Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 If they get good guests on it'll be ok, but without Tubes, Tramp, Fenners, sheephead and Rocket it could well struggle that is if they have indeed gone, I'll still watch it if I'm up.
DB11 Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Looking forward to watching it, see if anything is different?
Matt Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 I'll give it go tommorrow but not keen on that Goldstein, as someone else has already said he's boring and annoying, Lovejoy was annoying but atleast he was kinda funny, in the end Lovejoy just got to bigheaded I think.
Micky Ruddle Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 No Tim Lovejoy Doesn't seem right without him really, but suppose we'll have to get used to it.
Brainy Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 He's alright - shame he speaks and looks like a mouse.
Simi Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 I'll definately be watching it but i've heard others like Fenners and Tubes have left also? If that's true. The show has lost all it's comedy and banter.
Micky Ruddle Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 I'll definately be watching it but i've heard others like Fenners and Tubes have left also? Crisis for Soccer AM
TheBlinding Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 It's really bad I think Rocket is the only crew member who was there before. The rest have gone with Lovejoy
Micky Ruddle Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Well, Lovejoy's bulletins on myspace said that Tubes and Fenners went with him to his new slot on Channel 5, or something along those lines But that remains to be seen
TheBlinding Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Well, Lovejoy's bulletins on myspace said that Tubes and Fenners went with him to his new slot on Channel 5, or something along those lines But that remains to be seen Sheephead and Robbie and a few of the others went too.
Tommeh Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 I don't think it's too bad, Goldstein may take a bit of getting used to but the show will keep going. Pigoen Detectives on the sofa soon
Milky Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Fenners, Tubes, Tramp and Sheeps are going to regret leaving the show. The Beckham soccer us show is just a flash in the pan, soccer am is a legendary longstanding show. Stupid mistake.
