While this thread was initially started because she had been released really early, the title is still valid for this latest instalment.

She is actually being released early - after just 24 days of her 45 day sentence. The reason for this is crowded jails and "good behaviour".

Now... don't get me wrong, it's common practice to release criminals early if they behave themselves while doing their stretch.

However, what exactly has Paris Hilton done to deserve being released 23 days early (with almost half her sentence done).

Is this the same Paris Hilton who attempted to engineer herself a very early release a couple of weeks ago? Trying to abscond - no matter how you do it - can't possibly be in the list of actions deemed to be performed by someone exhibiting "good behaviour" during their sentence. If she scaled one of the prison walls, only to tangle herself in some barbed wire at the top, would she have been said to have been behaving herself?

I can't imagine she actually caused all that much trouble on the inside, but she did try to get herself out of jail after just a day or two - and I don't see how someone who attempts to get out could be deemed to have behaved well. :dunno:

Maybe for her behaving well means not having videoed sex during the course of her stay, hard to believe she could stay celibate and off screen for that long.

Shazad Akhtar, 34, was sentenced to 200 hours community service and ordered to pay £500 costs after pleading guilty to 22 counts of obtaining and attempting to obtain driving licences by deception.

The DSA, which gathers evidence before handing it on to police, has run 1,200 investigations into the activity so far.

The fear is that the figures are the tip of the iceberg and that there are many more untested and potentially lethal drivers on the roads.

surely this bloke is more deserving of a long prison sentence than paris hilton; who knows how many lunatic drivers are on out roads because of him :angry:

my point being, that at least she did serve some time inside , he didn't get a jail term at all for what to me seems far worse :dunno:
