Simi Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Enter Wenger? I'm sure that they have somebody lined up. Surely they wouldn't sack arguably one of the best managers in the world without a replacement lined up. I bet Arsenal are sh!tting themselves right now
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 thats funny. Well done for winning the league Fabio, now fuk off.
Joe. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 They've probably sacked him on the basis of his first 6 months where the team set records I think for the lowest amount of goals scored. He's still blamed for the way he handled Beckham and Ronaldo's exit from the club by some.
Maybes Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Thanks for winning the league...but we hate all the italian style of play even though they are world cup winners Go on arsene you know you want to. Real madrid are a team that win 4-3 not 1-0 or 2-1
James. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Nuttery. I really don't think Wenger will go. If what has been said about him is true the he'll see out his contract with Arsenal. Who then?
Joe. Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Nuttery.I really don't think Wenger will go. If what has been said about him is true the he'll see out his contract with Arsenal. Who then? Rumoured to be the current Getafe manager.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 I bet Rob Kelly is kicking himself that he's already signed a contract now.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Rumoured to be the current Getafe manager. Schuster, I'd be suprised, I think they're more likely to go for Wenger or Ramos.
shen Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Schuster, I'd be suprised, I think they're more likely to go for Wenger or Ramos. He (Schuster) has been linked for a very long time now. Apparently Calderon has named Laudrup as a possible target too...
Tevez Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 He sacked Capello because of the mis-treatment of David Beckham, Real President wanted Beckham to stay, but Capello didnt include him in the first team.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 June 2007 Author Posted 28 June 2007 He sacked Capello because of the mis-treatment of David Beckham, Real President wanted Beckham to stay, but Capello didnt include him in the first team. Also nobody liked his tactics, which seems strange as those tactics helped them win the league.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 He (Schuster) has been linked for a very long time now. Apparently Calderon has named Laudrup as a possible target too... Laudrup? Which one Micheal?
shen Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Laudrup? Which one Micheal? Yes, he left Brøndby last season to go to Spain. He's looking for work there now, and with him being a former Real legend, it's no surprise that he get's linked with them.
Lovejoy Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Why are Spanish clubs harsh on managers? just the culture i guess?
stevie909 Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 "Coach Fabio Capello was sacked by newly-crowned Spanish champions Real Madrid on Thursday, announced their sporting director Pedja Mijatovic. Mijatovic made the announcement of the 61-year-old's sacking - who is presently on holiday in Tibet - following a Real board meeting. "We have decided not to continue with Fabio Capello as our coach for next season," said Mijatovic. "It was not an easy decision to take as he has worked well. "But he is not the ideal person to achieve all that we want," added the former Real Madrid striker. Mijatovic would not be drawn on who they had lined up to replace Capello, who is not the first Real coach to suffer such a fate after delivering the title as Vicente del Bosque was despatched after the 2002-03 season." Frankly Ridiculous. Ten coaches in ten years. If i remember correctly, three or four of them lasted three months. hmmm...
