First Leicester city game

Hi i was wondering what everyones first Leicester city game was and how old your were and any other details about the day. Mine was the game against Ipswich in the terrific 2002/2003 season we lost 6-1 but still what a season, the first season in the walkers stadium when we got promoted into the premier league, and i was only about 8 or 9

Think mine was LCFC vs Manu, we lost 4 nil I think and I recall the bleached hair of Draper!!

I think mine was Blackburn at Filbert Street. It was around Christmas, maybe Boxing Day (?).

I don't remember the date excatly. It was at Filbert Street, I believe we beat Chelsea 2-0 Emile Heskey with a brace. Anybody tell me what date that was?

I reckon mine was vs Wimbledon in 1998 sort of time. If I remember rightly, I think we won 2-1 and Cottee was on the scoresheet.

Blackburn 1996 in the fog. Ian Marshall equalized in 1-1 draw. Thank god the goals came at our end, couldn't see the family stand!

Aged 5 years old v Bristol City Saturday 18th October 1968.

Stood with my Dad on the terraces of the old wing stand to the left of the dug-out.

It was a rainy day. We won 2-0. Rodney Fern and Lenny Glover scored.

FA cup 4th round Leicester 4 Man City 3...1968 or 69...long long time ago!

It was a trade off for my Dad...he got to take the family off to the rugby a few weeks later.

Even though fights broke out all around Filbert Street my Mum carried on taking me and our kid to games up into the mid-80's...bless her cotton socks. Hooliganism stopped my whole family from going to football for a long time after that.
