Gené and Tonic Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 Must say I thought the latest film was the best so far The casting for Luna was spot on - nailed the character in one New book coming out soon too...I'm away for the release but will probably be getting it later
Daggers Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 I'm taking the lad next Sunday as a reward for being an average in his SAT's. He started the year 18 months behind everyone else so we're all made up that he's now officially average. Typical City fan!

This one was no exception (but the best so far). Umbridge and Luna (like most of the cast) are spot on! But they literally only scrape the top 10% of the storey, shame really!
lildave3 Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 A mate went the other day and said it was brilliant. If that helps.
JoeyB Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 I want to see it, Should be soon! Shrek 3 is average tho'
James. Posted 15 July 2007 Posted 15 July 2007 A mate My sister went the other day and said it was brilliant awful. If that helps.

Same as goblet of fire, that movie misses far too much of the crutial story out of the film, I know its only 'based upon' but I just don't believe its right to miss so much out, which is why I have to say I greatly prefer most books over there movie counterparts, Harry Potter is no exception. I haven't seen this new film yet but I don't expect too much from it truth be told.

It's interesting you say that. The other day I was going to order a chinese, which I really fancied, but in the end I went for pizza because.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The People's Hero Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 I've got to go to a bookshop at midnight on Friday night.Women. Harry Potter is sh it. Don't go. Just give her a decent book.
Nick Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Harry Potter is sh it.Don't go. Just give her a decent book. I've heard he dies in the end.
The People's Hero Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 I've heard he dies in the end. That's the bible mate. (sorry to ruin it for anyone who's reading it)
Nick Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 That's the bible mate.(sorry to ruin it for anyone who's reading it) I respectfully refer you to: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_...&version=31 The bible has a ridiculously happy Hollywood ending. (apart from the plagues and all the 'nailing'....and no I don't mean Mary Magdalin) Harry Potter is true grit for realists. "He's been taken up." "No, no, there he is."
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 I've got to go to a bookshop at midnight on Friday night.Women. Is that where they hang out is it? Like vampires or something I guess.
Nick Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Where? While on a biblical theme of jesus rising, I thought I'd chuck a quote in from Monty Python's Life of Brian...........-waste of time.
city1993 Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 ABSOLUTE PILE OF S***, don't waste your money people.
Dames Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 I went last night and thought it was a good watch. But since i've read the book you can't help but think oh that should have happened or why isnt that there.
EmLeee Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 It was rubbish. They couldn´t even kill a character off properly ... grrr ... I think that was the worst film yet!! As for the book, I´m in Barcelona untill next Thursday on Tour with Band - I´m praying I can find an English shop so I can buy it!!
Head Honcho Posted 17 July 2007 Posted 17 July 2007 I may go and watch the 1.30 showing at the cinema down the road My local opens at 4pm and is across the road from the cinema so the timing is just right
