Geo V Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 I joined this forum in January as it was the first one that came up on Google when I did a search. 6 months on I see that we dont get that many online these days. Even the competition I set up with LCFC hasnt had many more than 100 guesses so far. Is everyone at this Talking Balls thing or have we had a huge amount of rogue net canvassers who keep signing up to advertise Britney Spears sex videos and links for free porn???

We used to... they're mostly being stopped in their tracks these days. A lot of users are now inactive by choice. A lot of users never intended to post more than a couple of times (they joined to make a point and subsequently vanished). Others have been driven away from the forum by the vigilante mob that rules the roost. Finally, at this time of year, use of the forum takes a dip while people go away on holiday and don't bother participating because there's no football to discuss. After all, there's not exactly a lot happening at the club right now - we're only just getting into pre-season friendly games. This is the way it goes - the summers tend to be a lot slower than the rest of the year when there's some quality (or otherwise) football going on in the fine county.
General Smuts Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 All the important ones are still here And im here now too

Phube Posted 20 July 2007 Posted 20 July 2007 If 4,000 people wrote on the forum each day... I wouldn't be here for sure!!! It'd be ridiculous, and you'd never see a thread for more than an hour beore it was on page 12!!! I like it as it is!
