lildave3 Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Who is this geezer? Everyone keeps going on about him, is he a fan or something? COmpetition winner.
Stevosevic Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 New signing, suppose to be world class, a real coup. Bit jealous of those able to see him play today, i cant wait for the first game, hes a bit special.
Milky Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 What a waste, he didn't even attempt to get a touch of the ball.

lildave3 Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 What a waste, he didn't even attempt to get a touch of the ball. I bet he doesn't think the same.
General Smuts Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 haha, but how did Iain Hume's dad win a competition? I thought Coatsworth had snuck back on! Plus the announcer said he were a record signing so he'd be more than £5m surely
chili_con_carne Posted 21 July 2007 Author Posted 21 July 2007 I thought Coatsworth had snuck back on!Plus the announcer said he were a record signing so he'd be more than £5m surely Oh right, im guessing you were joking about him being Hume's dad. So he won a competition to play a part in the match? How long did he play for?
General Smuts Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Oh right, im guessing you were joking about him being Hume's dad. So he won a competition to play a part in the match? How long did he play for? Shockingly it wasn't Ian Hume's dad no He played about 2 mins but didn't get to touch the ball. Quality warm up though, hilarity ensued.
Thracian Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 He won a raffle at the Kilworth Springs evening to spend matchday with Martin Allen starting at 1.00pm. I gave a bit of detail the other night but MA obviously decided to add in the surprise bonus of him playing out the last few minutes as a member of the team. It was a pity he didn't get a kick but it was still a smashing touch. I imagine he had a day he'll never forget.
Guest Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Mayve we can use Lee Smith as a new term of wonderment - ie he's done a lee smith when someone bends the ball in from 35 yards. When MM's money takes us to premiership glory (I know) 5 years from now (just bear with me) we can test whether people are glory-hunters by discussing our new purchase, Christiano Ronaldo (you get the idea), as the best signing since Lee Smith - i like the idea anyway
Mickey O'Neil Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Quality...very funny! Looked a bit nervous when warming up, though soon got in his stride for all 2 minutes (+1). And to get M.O.T.M as well
Toby or not Toby Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 It made me laugh how Damien Doyle the bloke who was warming him up, found it hilarious!
Ultra Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Fair play to the bloke, he lived the dream today. At least he can say he has a 100% winning record!
Dames Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Quality. I bet he was chuffed to bits and good on him tbh.
Joe. Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Well he gave us a laugh today Must have been brilliant for him, he's definitely lived most of our dreams!
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 July 2007 Posted 21 July 2007 Lee lives in Harborough and is the 'Son' in 'Alan Smith and Sons' coach company. I remember the Wembley trips he was our driver. My dad knows him, says he's a good lad.
