Monk Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Flippin eck! That must have been tough!!! I wonder how they got back from the pole? Helocopter maybe? There's no way Hammond was getting back on that sledge! Excellent show though. Cant wait for the new series.
Joe. Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Great show tonight as usual. They always manage to do something different and exciting Can't wait for new series now
Benji Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Such a funny episode tonight, the dry humour was pouring through. How funny when James turned the Shotgun round and looked down it, hahaha
Daggers Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Outstanding: G&T's, Chablis and Fois Gras ...and a fost-bitten penis.
Blue Bob Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Outstanding: G&T's, Chablis and Fois Gras...and a fost-bitten penis. Not good must hurt like hell!! I thought Clarkson would go mad when he was pushed into the icy water, guess he was too chilled out to be mad!!!!
Joe. Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Not good must hurt like hell!!I thought Clarkson would go mad when he was pushed into the icy water, guess he was too chilled out to be mad!!!! I bet it didn't! Seeing as he probably couldn't even feel it
AoWW Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 I bet it didn't! Seeing as he probably couldn't even feel it Yeah, but one tiny peek would be enough, surely? :pinch:
Blue Bob Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Yeah, but one tiny peek would be enough, surely? :pinch: I agree seeing your bits in that state would make you feel ill enough without actually feeling the pain.
dandannieldanok Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Hilarious when JC kept driving off when May was on the loo
Daggers Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 ...but... It DID look easy, no matter what guff they came out with at the end. I'm going up there at the weekend with the Zafira
mancunianfox Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 ...but...It DID look easy, no matter what guff they came out with at the end. I'm going up there at the weekend with the Zafira A Zafira? Wuss, reckon it'll take me about a couple of hours in a Trabant Seriously thought, its a shame that they didn't pay more attention to Richard Hammond for doing that though. I know its a car show but what he did took real guts especially less than a year after having a near fatal accident.
Nick Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 ...but...It DID look easy, no matter what guff they came out with at the end. I'm going up there at the weekend with the Zafira I loved it, until JC's closing statement about how cars have only just scratched the surface of the ice and the melting of the caps is not visible to him.......What a tosser. He never knows when to shut the **** up.
SystonFox Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 i think JC speaks alot of sense generally. his ice melting speech didnt wash for me but if you read his books and column in the sun i really rate his opinions.
Tommeh Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 Top quality show the other day I actually stayed in our hotel just to watch it and was the only night I stayed in. Great when James turned round with the shotgun, Jeremy drove off with him on the bog and when they watched the videos at the start. worra show as the facebook group says - JC for PM
Tommeh Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 Repeat on tonight for anyone that missed it at 8, Beeb 2
Guest Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Great show But WTF were they thinking driving over the thin blue ice??? They would've been dead no chan ce at all if they'd gone through. Brave boys
