Raj Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 After the floods, here's more bad news for the farmers of Britain........ http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1278556,00.html
Raj Posted 4 August 2007 Author Posted 4 August 2007 What? Again? Afraid so.....Even Gordon Brown has had to come back off his holidays,so it must be serious. remember the last time it happened,it caused havoc. Really feel for the farmers at the moment...
Ultra Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 Hope this is an isolated incident. But don't waste too much sympathy on the farmers. If they are in real trouble they can always run to the government or EU for more handouts.

davieG Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 The supermarket chains will love it after the floods it'll give them another reason to push up prices even though a very large proportion of our food, like everything else is imported.

Jon the Hat Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 This looks like it has come from the animal research place about 3 miles from the farm, and about 2 miles from my house. Lets hope so, as this means likely to be an isolated case.

filbertway Posted 5 August 2007 Posted 5 August 2007 Unless it was a deliberate leak by a person/s wishing to damage our economy. Or is that too far fetched to be likely or even possible? I'm expecting some kind of long winded chandler post now how one single sad misunderstood depressed person tried to ruin britains economy
dandannieldanok Posted 5 August 2007 Posted 5 August 2007 Couldn't believe on my return to Britain this Saturday to hear of this, when I arrived last week in Italy I laughed because there was an old poster in the airport, presumbably made for the 2001 crisis, warning people that Britons may be unintentionally carrying foot-and-mouth and waht steps to take.
