Stevosevic Posted 6 August 2007 Author Posted 6 August 2007 Brilliant, another season kicked off with an empty stadium. At least it will beat the dire attendance at home to Burnley last year. I just feel sorry for MA, he has got this idea we're going to be playing infront of 30,000 every week.

purpleronnie Posted 6 August 2007 Posted 6 August 2007 You would think for the first game of the season and renewed hope there will be a large crowd, but I don't think too much should be read into that though, I'm sure there will be plenty of other big crowds around the country for the first game. Its those freezing december home games against s****horpe which will be the real test.

There still will be plenty away on holiday in the middle of August so if we manage to get over 26,000/27,000 with only 2,000 home fans we will be doing very well. Quite a few sides will be bringing a hell of a lot more than 2,000 to swell the numbers thats for sure.
