ApexGeo...you ARE undoubtedly a fcuking legend

(in your own mind!!!!)

Good work Pal!

My 83's starting to look ridiculously optimistic already.

Especially for a team that seems so "tea and biscuits" for the first hour.

If we manage to craete 20 chances per game Thrac and get that run of the ball that saw us hit the woodwork twice and go close about 6 more times, I think the 100 will be in jeopardy! All aboard the Optimistic bus. :|

BTW, to those of you who have thanked me for the comp, its a pleasure to do something for you all who I know personally had shite Xmas`s after you put all your money in that Christmas shopping company that folded without supplying you your toys and turkeys lol

With the child maintenance that I have to pay, I think I may join a club or two myself.

*** PRIZE UPDATE ***

As you all know we have a Nintendo Wii offered by me along with the signed Leicester City shirt for this season and Tour of the stadium for 4 by the club but a generous and at this stage anonymous Foxestalk regular has offered to give a £25 voucher he has obtained for use in the Club Shop as part of the ever increasing prize fund. Its a straight up £25 one and not one of those minimum spend ones that are flying about (spend £5000 and save £25 lol).

That takes us to 4 prizes so far and I am fishing around for some more as most of the guesses have at least 4 people involved and some have over a dozen!

Once again, thanks to "anon" for now but I`m sure with some persuasion he will allow me to put his name up lol

Nice one. with this prize list getting bigger and bigger, i'm going to be more and more hissed off when i come one off the answer! Thats just my luck. A bit premature to be pessimistic though. I know many have said it but cheers apexgeo, legend! :worship:

The good thing is if you lose by one, you can think back at the player that either scored a wonder goal that should never have been or find the lad who scuffed one wide when it was easier to score. You can then send him an email and tell him what he cost you in the hope that he can reward you with a signed shirt anyway as a way of an apology. lol

Thanks for finding my entry, it had been missed of some of the other lists.

:)

Loads were to be honest and the funniest thing was that so many people forgot they had already voted and ended up voting again which meant having to take out their original guesses. Oh how I laughed! :@ :@ :frusty:

Don't want to clutter the thread with a massive quote but on page 5, post 96 on the other thread I guessed 54. Wondered if

you could add me too the list?

Thanks in advance :D .

Im off out in a sec but I have you down as 58 which would have been a post you made after. Do me a favour please and look for your posts after that one you mentioned above to see if you did indeed change your original guess. Cheers.

BTW dont worry about cluttering this thread as I presume people will be chatting on here nearer the end of the season when we are working out who is close to a win!

Great idea Geo and very generous too

I'm just hoping by next May that the Wii is worthless so it would only have cost me about £20. Hopefully Nintendo would have bought out a Wii 2 and Wii 3 by then lol

Actually, come to think of it, I`d better ask that supporters liason lad to send me the shirt before he is next on Milans sacking list!

Gary Megsons teams - Recent records for goals scored as a manager...

2001/02 - WBA - 2nd in Championship - Promotion - 61 Goals in 46 Matches

2002/03 - WBA - 2nd bottom in Prem - Relegated - 29 Goals in 38 Matches

2003/04 - WBA - 2nd in Championship - Promotion - 64 Goals in 46 Matches

2004/05 - WBA - Dismissed

2004/05 - Forest - After taking over in Jan 05`, he helped them get relegated:banana: :bounce: . Forest scored 15 league goals in the final 18 games.

2005/06 - Forest - Resigned in February 06 after 33 league games in which they scored 40 league goals. Worrying, not long after he left they smashed 7 past Swindon lol

I think we can safely say that he is quite a defensively minded coach so anyone who has predicted 70 goals plus might as well throw their tickets away lol

53 is looking rosey again, seeing as he managed 61 when promoted automatically.
