Don't know whether Kee might be playing for the reserves tomorrow but I've a mind to go over to telford to see. Does anyone know where Wolves will be playing in Telford tomorrow?. I've emailed the club but heard nothing as yet.

i think it's in wellington, at least i'm sure the old one was...

worth the trip for some very fine Banks'

I wonder whether Allen will throw Sappleton in to the fray tonight. Ricky's had a bad few days with the news of his best mate Ray Jones dying, it's the sort of occasion where some managers might call on a player to step up to the plate and do the business.

Allen's mind works in different ways to most, perhaps he'll be looking at Sappleton to get out there on his debut and put in a performance in memory of his mate. I hope Sappleton is spurred on by the tragic loss of Ray Jones and that he takes the opportunity of being a professional footballer, he's certainly got the ability.

Got a feeling either him or Odhiambo will play a part tonight.

I'd be surprised. There's a reserves match tomorrow night and I'd think he'd be earlmarked for that. Although he scored against Forest Reserves I would call the rest of his game anywhere good enough to have earned a first team test.

My money is on Odhiambo or Fryatt getting another chance.

Either that or he might of been given some time off?

I was thinking, is Shaun Newton injured?

No one seems to have suggested him but I think he could tear them apart.

Problem is there would only be two spaces on the right for him, Kaeibi & Chambers.

but it could all not matter if he is injured...

We definatly need to shuffle the pack a bit I think. Give a few more players a chance because we now (like has been said) have many more options to create a good team.

------------------------------------------------HENDERSON-----------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----CHAMBERS-----------------McAULEY--------------------KISNORBO--------------MATTOCK-------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------KAEBI-------------------CLEMENCE------------------WESOLOWSKI------------SHEEHAN-------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------FRYATT---------------------CAMPBELL---------------------------------

Subs: NIELSEN, N'GOTTY, HELLINGS, DE VRIES, ODIHAMBO

I'd definatly rest Fulop, Hume and Kishishev for this game, there is the international duty issue. However I would stick McAuley into the centre of defense despite this to give him a run out, otherwise he could not get a good shout at forcing his way into the starting eleven - what with Paddy K and Bruno looking solid at the moment. I'm assuming that Sunderland won't allow us to play Fulop and Clarke in this comp so i've had to put Casino Jimmy on the bench and i've also thrown Mattock into left back for a run out. I'd still drop Clarke for this game in favour of Mattock if he could play but I would odviously replace Nielsen with Fulop on the bench if he was available. Kaebi should start as well really, it's the best time with Hume being rested and would be the perfect game for him to get a good run out. I agree that Sheehan needs a bit more experience to back up his excellent performance at the weekend so he stays and the central lads keep their places. It's time to give Fryatt a run out and MDV a rest, we don't need the big man getting burnt out with how well he is playing at the moment - and I think we need to take a look at Fryatt. I've put Sergio Hellings on the bench, he had bad reviews or indifferent reviews but it might be worth chucking him on for twenty minutes to see if he's worth anything for this season. Odihambo also should get a run out at some point.

To be fair, Kishishev has played about 20 minutes for us in the past 2 games. So he shouldn't be knackered at all.

Worrying that we feel the need to "rest" players in August! But I agree MdV looked knackered on Saturday, although he doesn't have international duty as an excuse (Deep Freeze up front for Holland :D ).

I would keep Fulop in to keep building up a rapport with the defence - I assumed he is allowed to play if on a full-season loan and can't imagine he had many pre-season games. Campbell should start up front, start off with the same (excellent) middle two with some options on the bench in case we are comfortable to save them for the league (Stearman could slot in there, I think Hellings is a CM, maybe Porter or Hume too). Mattock could come in at LB to rebuild his confidence, Kaebi could do with game time and Chambers looked great on Saturday. Fryatt should play up-front either to put himself in the shop window (if we are going to get rid of him) or to give him a chance to stake his claim (if he's staying). Always worth a decent player on the bencgh (Hume) in case we are in trouble.

-Kaebi---Wesolowski---Clemence---Sheehan-

Having said all that, no-one can predict what Martin Allen will do!!!
