Daggers Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 The Dennis Wise with Neil Warnock Dreamteam. Nothing could make me despise the club more at this moment in time.
TheBlinding Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Although I'd love to see Jewell here I can't see him wanting to be told what to do by Mandaric. In the words of Pete Doherty "In this industry of fools Musclemen and ghouls If you're not a puppet or a muppet Then you might as well call it a day"
Bojimha Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 "Your not helping the server".I've already been told off for posting a pointless message. I've not got a problem with it though. Oh sorry I didnt realise we were being naughty. Fair play Walkers mate, it's not our fault if it is hosted on a shite server! I'll leave this board for now to all the important people to post with there wanderful opions and return in the less busy times when my posts do no upset people and cause problems for the poor little server! Oh, and if we cant get any of the four I mentioned then maybe : Danny Wilson of Hartlepool
MADLEVEIN Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i aint bothered as long as we get promoted. i dont care what kit we got , who mm sacks or hires , or who cleans the toilets, premier league is the only way to go. paul ince was hotly tipped before allen dare milan take another mk dons manager ?? wouldnt suprise me.
Lillehamring Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 PLEASE STOP PUTTING ALLEN!!!!! - don't want roeder, don't want warnock, don't want megson - jewell would be Allen Mk II - grayson is having a great time with blackpool, why give that up.... At least possible candidates will have seen with the watford game that they won't be taking over a complete shower of shite, any smart manager will see the potential, just need one prepared to take the risk... failing that, we'll get some mercenary b'stard like warnock, or someone desparate like megson or roeder... but - STOP PUTTING ALLEN, he's just been fired!!!
Geo V Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Why does this shite always happen to us?! A new manager search after 3 months and just when things were looking good. Forget MA coming back as thats a non-starter. As much as its great that we all want him back we have zero chance of him being reinstated. For me, if we dont get Paul Jewell and we end up with any one of these idiots quoted like Warnock, Megson and the rest, we will be really fooked. I dont like the idea of a foreign manager either because at this level they wont have a clue who the players are for us or the rest of the division. I just hope we dont get the friendly and fair Glenn Roeder who is just a more experienced version of Rob Kelly. 1. Paul Jewell 2. Kevin Keegan (no chance I know) 3. Simon Grayson
Daggers Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 1. Paul Jewell 2. Kevin Keegan (no chance I know) 3. Simon Grayson All three would sleep with their own mothers before coming to work for MM after this. They may even sleep with mine.
syston_fox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 whats the point of even bringing in a new manager? They will have no power at all in the club as its Mandaric that clearly has the say as to what goes on!
Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 All three would sleep with their own mothers before coming to work for MM after this. They may even sleep with mine. In fairness, who hasn't? Anyway I saw Stan Ternent in Morrissons earlier.

They will have no power at all in the club as its Mandaric that clearly has the say as to what goes on! There are always two sides to a story so before we string Milan up (I must admit that its tempting), I think we need to know exactly what happened for there relationship to deteriorate. We know what we read with the JFH situation being an embarrassing situation for the chairman but we dont know what else happened. Ive changed my mind lets lynch him
DB11 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Jon Rudkin I can read the future But, I want MA back! Definitely do not want Roeder... if it is him I hope that it is MM picking the team!
Southern Fox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Arlo White was on BBC Radio 5 live and thinks it will be Gary Megson. He also mentioned that Milan has made it clear that the first manager he originally approached in the summer was someone he had wanted at Portsmouth and may pursue him now. Who is that?
Milky Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I can read the future :cool:But, I want MA back! Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 If Gary Megson is our new manager I'll go and support Hinckley or something.
Lillehamring Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i know it's not vey likely, but maybe now is the time for steve walsh. he has been outspoken this summer in matters of keeping the peace, and supporting the club... he has no reason to feel like an expert in the transfer market so will just take what MM gives him, tho he'd inherit the current squad anyway. he would kick some ass, and inspire some real belief in the team. ah well, wouldn't be any worse than megson.

dandannieldanok Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 My top 3 candidates would be: 1 - Paul Jewell 2 - Micky Adams (cue slating) 3 - Neil Warnock (cue slating)
Blue Bob Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It is not just who do we want but who is prepared to come and work for MM. A decent manager will want to manage their way, MM will not allow that as he wants to interfer in everything. Good luck to Martin Allen I hope that you got yourself a decent pay off and soon find work again. Thanks for all the work you put into the club, for me you were like a breath of fresh air giving us great hope for the future of the club. To Milan, I respect the fact that you own the club and have massive ambitions for us and have put your money where your mouth is. I do still believe that you can be the saviour of our club but you now have a lot of work to do to win the fans back as I believe most of us will look at this move as a poor decision. You now need to find us a Manager who will be excellent for this club. I dont want to see the following appointed: Warnock Roeder Hoddle Ince Megson Possibles: Jewell - been there before and has done it with limited resources Grayson - Seems to have organised Blackpool well and might be worth a step up Not sure who else would be suitable
Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 My top 3 candidates would be:1 - Paul Jewell 2 - Micky Adams (cue slating) 3 - Neil Warnock (cue slating) Wouldn't be DEAD displeased with Micky Adams, but I'd take Warnock over him. And a fair few others. Beats tits like Megson and Roeder though.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 No doubt John Gregory will apply just like the last 2/3 times the job has becmoe available even though he is managing QPR.
davieG Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It's really a pointless question because whoever it is the odds are really stacked against them lasting longer than 3 months, in all his years in English football he's only ever managed to find one manger who was any good. His track record is appalling and certainly says more about his judgement of people than about the qualities of the managers he appoints. I've just about reached a point where I just don't care who it is and I'm starting to wonder how long it will take me to feel the the same about LCFC.
