Lovejoy Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 There is a decent manager, dunno if youve heard of him, Martin Allen
Bryn Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It's really a pointless question because whoever it is the odds are really stacked against them lasting longer than 3 months, in all his years in English football he's only ever managed to find one manger who was any good. His track record is appalling and certainly says more about his judgement of people than about the qualities of the managers he appoints.I've just about reached a point where I just don't care who it is and I'm starting to wonder how long it will take me to feel the the same about LCFC. I know how you feel. After years of despondancy (a word or no?) we had a ray of hope which has now been extinguished, and it just feels boring, mundane and depressing again.
Nationwider Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Cometh the hour, cometh the Beaglehole. I've always wanted to write that. Rest assured, whatever Milan does, all travellers to Plymouth can be assured of 90 minutes of U-16 Samba-style magic from the kids.
MADLEVEIN Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 well news of the world said allen would be gone and warnock or roeder would be in so they got one part right.
Webbo Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Definately not Roeder. The only manager who could appease the fans is Simon Grayson, the problem is is that he's got too much brains to come here.

I'm with you on that, after all the highs and excitment of pre-season, i'm am left totally flat and deflated. Part of me just doesn't want to know! MM is going do what the hell he feels like, seems like all we can do is sit back and grit our teeth.
Daggers Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I've just about reached a point where I just don't care who it is and I'm starting to wonder how long it will take me to feel the the same about LCFC. Yup.
Neil982 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What about Mike Stringfellow? He's got management experience! Erm, even if it was Enderby newsagents.
Bryn Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 If not Jewell, just give the job to Beaglehole and Rudkin tbh, I don't want any of these other "big names".
Cheese Me Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Martin Allen for me - oh yeah, right, forgot Not Warnock, prefer it not to be Roeder either. Sruggling to care much other than that now. Lost a lot of respect and seriously considering a boycott
Micky Ruddle Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Mandaric appointed Harry Redknapp again, after he left Southampton. Lets appoint Allen again
Pete_foxes Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 MARTIN ALLEN all the way... heard hes just got the sack, sort of guy we could do with If not Milan will interview himself for the job.
MPH Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 im still in shock at Milan's stupidity... how can he possibly put his own Ego above the club? Jewell is the only person i would like.... I reckon MA walking onto the pitch before the Watford Game and how he was probably enraged MM... still gut wrenching actions by MM...
NorthernFox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 NOT Roeder.I want Martin back. I'll take Jewell. I could just about stomach Warnock, but I wouldn't be pleased. 100% agree. I couldnt face coming on here tonight because I couldnt believe that we could lurch into yet another disaster.
Lillehamring Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Cometh the hour, cometh the Beaglehole.I've always wanted to write that. Rest assured, whatever Milan does, all travellers to Plymouth can be assured of 90 minutes of U-16 Samba-style magic from the kids. he's gotta pick beaglehole - he knows and has managed half the team, doesn't seem to have an ego... and just so we can hear his name on tv... headline next week: Beagle(hole) catches foxes. all good.
dog_4 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 all write to milan suggesting martin allen the next manager and then chant ya brains of at plymouth on saturday say bring back martin. I say we have one big campaign of getting the best manager in ages back at our club. He did so much for us in such a short space of time so lets return the favour.
Tommeh Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 New manager will be Martin Jol.FACT! hopefully Oh Raj, you've hit a nerve with that one JOL IN! Failing that, Capello's currently out of work
gosfox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 After todays events I couldn't really give a flying Feck!!!
Karlos Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 David Speedy! (joking) tim davis over warnock/roeder, used to be roumers about tigana after he left fenerbache, but at the minute i aint botherd, still in disbelief! Redknapp would be good choice
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 No disrespect to Glenn Roeder, but I feel that he is Craig Levein mark2; somebody who wouldn't say "boo to a goose" GR has no charisma and is utterly boring and done nothing.. FFS we don't want him at the club.. Please can we try and poach George Burley or Alan Pardew???
