New Manager...

can't help thinking that MM is planting the "leaks" linking the club with the likes of megson, pleat and roeder so that whoever he finally chooses will be a relief if it's not one of those losers- the fans will be happy and forget MA. If the clash was truly one over the "vision" of the club it would be interesting to hear what vision the likes of megson would have

Still can't believe that this club is looking for a new manager AGAIN. At the moment this Rodgers fellow looks a pretty safe bet, as the Mirror is well known as Mandaric's favoured mouthpiece. I'd be going for someone like Jean Tigana as Director of Football in that case, if we could get him. If not I think Paul Jewell would be an excellent shout. I cannot believe this club is even being linked with the likes of Gary Megson. I will vomit if we get him.

See everybody... Milan might be mental, but all things are relative.

I've heard about Megson and Roeder and if either of them set foot in Leicestershire, there'll be a cheap season ticket going.

I could just about stomach Warnock because he's got a lot of knowledge about the Championship and at least the guy is a character. Roeder is dead from the neck up. Best bet has got to be Paul Jewell for me. Did a great job at Bradford and Wigan. All I hope is we get somebody with a bit of personality and charisma. Allen at least got the fans revved up and I can't face going back to the dull days of Rob Kelly and Craig Levien.

I wonder whether anybody will actually be that tempted by the job when you've got a shotgun chairmain who has got rid of three bosses in 20-odd games?

Who the hell would want to work for MM, the man is impossible?

I certainly don't want Roeder or Warnock. In fact I'm not sure I'd wish MM on anyone.

I really don't know why MM doesn't do the job himself and appoint any old fool with a badge to hold the title.

Part of me hopes that someone buys MM out, gives him a few million profit to flatter his ego and lets our club get its dignity back. But would anyone else be any better? This all just leaves a sour taste to me though I can't say I'm in the least bit surprised.

In the end I'd like someone to carry on doing what MA was doing as far as our football was concerned. Trying to biold something properly. But MM doesn't want a builder. He wants compliant wand-waver.

Simon Grayson & Brendan Rodgers are two I think who might manage us successfully and with some dignity but why would they opt for a dose of MM?.

I like what our Academy people stand for, football wise, but realise our fans want a bigger "name" though, sadly I see flaws with pretty well everyone mentioned.

George Burley has some appeal as does Mike Newell but why should any of them last more than a month or two?

I suspect it will be Warnock but am actually too upset to be helpful. Apologies to everyone.

 Good post.

I've made it clear who I want but I wouldn't be upset with Simon Grayson or Jean Tigana if we can somehow get him.

I dunno why, probabley because of that god awfull Bradford team, but I have little time for Paul Jewell.

NO TO ROEDER.. his employment on the back of his record is about as useful to us as re-employing Rob Kelly...

It's gotta be either Jewell or Keegan for my liking... if MM is going to do something like sack a manager after 4 matches who won us 2 matches, then he better have a bloody good replacement, and these 2 are the only 2 close enough to fit that match.

Adam.. if MM is going to sack someone of the quality of Allen, he has to have a much better replacement.... Keegan although he would cost the earth and probably wouldn't come here... is that better replacement... so is Jewell... ;)

If he goes with someone less than MA, the fans will tear the club down... he has to find us a supercoach, as what he has done now is totally unacceptable.

it's getting worse- early front runner is megson ffs, according to bbc

As a Forest fan, this pleases me.

As Leicester fas, you should be praying for anyone else!

I liked the enthusiasm of a young and up-and-coming manager, its gotta be Grayson...but I don't think Grayson will be Milan's yes man

As much as I don't like nicking another Championships manager, needs must.

I want an experienced manager. Mandaric won't go for someone from a lower league again because they wouldn't be able to attract high profile players - Milan is desperate for some.

boy! i hope that this is true...

i think it will be rodgers, but i'm kind of curious about brian little, he is one manager that a lot of fans would be very happy with and quite a few would go nuts about....

I'd be fairly horrified with Brian Little back here.
