FleckneyFox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Maybe if Rudkin has a couple of good games he could stay permanent after all he has worked wonders with the academy and will know the emerging players i.e Gradel, Beswick, Chambers well

lookwhaticando Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Hole in one. it's all good fun, isn't it? Good to see the Brianstorm on the verge of sweeping the FoxesTalk nation once more... or perhaps just the Nationwider living room. Cometh the hour, cometh the Beaglehole.
JoeyB Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Bring back Kelly or levien! Maybe if Rudkin has a couple of good games he could stay permanent after all he has worked wonders with the academy and will know the emerging players i.e Gradel, Beswick, Chambers well Maybe more of the Youth team players will begin to feature? Tharc will love that!
Daggers Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I was so happy when Allen was appointed - not because of his skills, his humour or his square head...but because I thought we'd seen the last a sodding threads like this.

Mikey Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I would love that man Martin Allen to come back. I would like it if Paul Jewell became our manager. I could live with Neil Warnock being our manager. I would hate it if any other unemployed person became our manager.
Blue Bob Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I am confused why some posters are still saying Martin Allen as the next manager. Whilst I am also against his sacking, Milan clearly does not want him which means he is not coming back. If he did want him he wouldn't have sacked him in the first place! So please post a reasonable suggestion

It's obvious that MM wants a yes sir,no sir, three bags full sir, whatever you say sir manager. The ONLY person I can think of that fits this criteria is someone who will be looking for a job in a few weeks time. The one and only; Steve Honda Steve Ferrari Steve Williams Ah got it Steve McLaren
Ajax Treesdown Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It has got to be either Paul Jewell or Neil Warnock. NOT Simon Grayson or Glenn Roeder.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I'm tempted to think the Bredan Rodgers story in The Mirror has some credibility. Expect to see Brian Little return as Director of Football with Rodgers having a purely coaching/team selection role. MM clearly needs an interface between him and his manager and Little would be ever the diplomat whilst giving a helping hand to a newbie manager.
Sods Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It has got to be either Paul Jewell or Neil Warnock. NOT Simon Grayson or Glenn Roeder. Still not tempted to any of the names above, nothing stands out.
jepson74 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Has to be paul jewell!!!!!!! A certain Mr ferguson may need a new job soon?
Dames Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 None of the unemployed managers are suitable for this club. We need someone to restore some pride and credibility to Leicester City F.C. I don't see Warnock or Roeder doing that.
reynard Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Jean tigana paul Jewell not for me but 1 name conspicuous by its ommission and rumoured from the past is IAIN DOWIE. . 8 MANAGERS IN 8 YEARS
Zorrovolpe Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Bobby Gould or Ron Atkinson or Graham Taylor I'm beyond caring
Tevez Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It has got to be either Paul Jewell or Neil Warnock. NOT Simon Grayson or Glenn Roeder. Talking Sense.
focus fox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 We have had a manager who has truly inspired the fans despite indifferent results and performances Yet Milan has let him go.....Why??? Who wanted Jimmy Floyd or Danny Murphy anyway?? Neither appeared bothered when they were in the top flight. Milan you need to consider now and get Mad Dog back Now......If he will have us!!
PAULCFC Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Megson upsets boards wherever he's been.Forest,WBA.....While being a crap manager!Mandric likes the camera's toooo much!Mandric/megson will last 2 months max!
Thracian Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Who the hell would want to work for MM, the man is impossible? I certainly don't want Roeder or Warnock. In fact I'm not sure I'd wish MM on anyone. I really don't know why MM doesn't do the job himself and appoint any old fool with a badge to hold the title. Part of me hopes that someone buys MM out, gives him a few million profit to flatter his ego and lets our club get its dignity back. But would anyone else be any better? This all just leaves a sour taste to me though I can't say I'm in the least bit surprised. In the end I'd like someone to carry on doing what MA was doing as far as our football was concerned. Trying to biold something properly. But MM doesn't want a builder. He wants compliant wand-waver. Simon Grayson & Brendan Rodgers are two I think who might manage us successfully and with some dignity but why would they opt for a dose of MM?. I like what our Academy people stand for, football wise, but realise our fans want a bigger "name" though, sadly I see flaws with pretty well everyone mentioned. George Burley has some appeal as does Mike Newell but why should any of them last more than a month or two? I suspect it will be Warnock but am actually too upset to be helpful. Apologies to everyone.
surrifox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 whoever takes the job should be aware that MM has abandoned the 3 year plan in favour of promotion before the turn of the first year " (oh and as a further handicap you have to select my celebrity mates like jimmy floyd lardarse) Fail in this task and face the consequences. " Only the likes of megson and rhoda would take a job on that basis as they would not be overburdened with job offers elsewhere in the game
