Found out today that for the first time in 8 years I'm not graded (only allowed to play for the first team) for football through a conversation with someone not affiliated with the senior despite starting (and playing well) in every important match last season. I'm not ****ing happy.

Noticed my cat pissed outside my room on white (of all colours) carpet early hours this morning after i went to loo and took me 20 mins to get it off and get it white again. Went to The Yews pub in Great Glen lunchtime and had a chat with Willie Thorne, then a bike ride around the Great Glen area towards Leicester Grammer School. (Which i thought was based next to Leicester Cathedral?)

Today has started off in a 'what-the-fuck' kinda way.

I didn't notice for a couple minutes then literally just shouted "what the..." in full voice!

Think I found the only benefit to smoking, went for a fag last night and disturbed some people in next doors garden, heard one shout "****ing hurry up adam!" and then the sound of running and the fences at the end of the garden being climbed over.

Went outside this morning and our shed's been broken into, the fence down the back of the garden smashed through, looks like I disturbed them just as they were getting into next door, *****.

Today I walked in the footsteps of a former City player. I did Nick Platenauer's round.

And my last surviving grandparent died... but peacefully and after being largely just existing for a while now... very sad, but also kind of a release for her. As usual it's the people surviving that I feel for, so more upset for dad than for myself.

Sorry to hear that, Trav. She's at rest now. Went through the same thing not so long ago and the main thing was that me and my brother were there for my dad while he was going through the motions, as obviously it upset him more than it did for us 2.
