dave_the_fox Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Just remember chaps, for the last few FM's a patch has came out on the day of release (tomoz) so dont go starting your complete career game that you will play till 2095, wait for the patch to make sure your game has a few bugs ironed out! there is no official word of a patch though, as yet.

Ive got hold of a copy and its quite good so far although admittedly Ive spent 15 mins having a look and haven't even done any deals! On my game Mattock is wanted by Sunderland from the start but his value is just £85k, Kisnorbo is wanted by Atalanta and is valued at £475k, all the loan signings are in although Clarke is ineligible to play until May 08 so his deal was terminated and Ricky Sappletons picture is as badboy as it gets.

Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I've had a rocky start, but i've picked up 3 wins out of 3 and it's lift off. Pre-season, I got hammered 4-0 by Arsenal Reserves in my first game in charge and got slated by the fans. But I won them over with a 3-0 win against Leeds, where de Vries scored a 55 yard lob I won the rest of my pre-season games fairly comfortably and was looking forward to the start of the season. First game was Cardiff away, 2-0 up after 30 mins, Clemence & Fryatt. Everything going well. 2nd half and Dave Jones went mad at them, they came back with 2 quick goals and I managed to hang on for the draw. Thrashed Accrington 4-0 in the cup. DJ, Hume, Clemence & a Kaebi header. 2nd league game was Bristol City at home. Went 2-0 up after 48 minutes, cruising through Clemence & DJ. Then Bristol City scored 2 in the final 10 mins and it was another 2 points lost. Wolves away, I knew it was going to be tough, so I thought i'd go at them from the off with a 3-4-3 attacking formation. They destroyed me 3-0, but I did have 2 goals disallowed early on, which would have made it a different story. WBA away in the cup, needed to pull something out the bag. Gave Victor Moses his debut, who i'd pinched off Palace for £170,000, had to offer him £8000 a week for a 16 year old! Anyway, I went 1-0 and looked to be going out. Then Hume scored to equalize from an exquisite through ball from Moses. They then scored 2 quick goals to go 3-1 up with 20 mins to go. A Moses bycicle kick and a Hume header pulled it back to 3-3. I then had Neilson (rested Fulop ) sent off and they scored 2 more in extra time to knock us out of the cup. I fined Neilson 2 weeks wages and criticised him in the media. He wants to leave now, good!!! The board weren't overly happy with me, so I knew I had to do a Megson and grind a few results out. I decided to go 5-3-2 counter. Sheff United up next at home. Signed Malcolm Christie on a free and he scored on his debut on the break for a priceless 1-0 win. Charlton at home a couple of days later. The media were claiming Andy Reid would take us apart, so I got Wesolowski to do a man marking job on him and we snuffed him out the game. Reid was taken off after an hour because he was so in-effective. DJ got the winning goal in a 1-0 win. Ipswich away and I stuck with the defensive 5-3-2. It worked well and we won 3-0 with goals from DJ, Hume & Mattock. That's where i'm up to. Sitting 7th in the table, only 2 points off top, it's all very tight. Marco Ferreira has broken his foot and is out for quite some time, he was looking good in pre-season as well.

Ive started to play this today at the detriment of making a living playing poker and I have stalled on Parma`s £2.5m offer for Kissa. I may have to take it though to buy some players. Deals done so far are... In - Fulop on permanent deal for £700k (Megson please take note ) Out - Jailow - Free Rab £2k and Elvis £1k to Bristol Rovs McAuley £150k to Crewe Cort £85k to Huddersfield Kenton £50k to Tranmere MDV £40k to Leyton Hellings £50k and Newton £95k both to Doncaster Kish £950k to Hull :eek: Nielsen £170k to Colchester Maybury £650k to Scunny I have a few bids on going but I am finding it much more difficult to buy free transfers and am getting beat to the punch on certain players.
