FilboFox Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 If we lose then I'll be mightily pissed off... Just think, last time we played them was only a few weeks ago and we've a completely new backroom staff since then!

Sods Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 wheres this meadow club where city fans went drinking before last time??? near meadow lane? yeah round the corner
john_lcfc Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 i dont know nottingham very well mate. is it at notts county or just nearby??? how do you get there from the city ground mate??
Peacefulred Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 i dont know nottingham very well mate. is it at notts county or just nearby??? how do you get there from the city ground mate?? From the brian clough car park at the city ground you can walk over trent bridge or lady bay bridge toward meadow lane and you cant really miss it. Larwood and Voce is usually the away pub ad it much easier for you to get to but recently its been refurbished and is pretty pricey.
willy37 Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 the medow club was and prob will be the only pub open to away fans, we tried to get in larwood is it? and the monkey tree which usually allow away fans but got turned away
koop. Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 or just don't wear your Leicester shirt and you can drink anywhere you like. There are some nice bars next to the city ground. Southbank is a good place to drink (it's the one on the edge of the bridge)
majestic fox Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 leicester city 4-0 tonight, good feeling about this, although i feel this will be the only highlight of megson's leicester carear COME ON CITY
Bernie's Love Child Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I'm quite confident of a win as well. The lads will be up for it after the Clarke incident and Megson will want to give the Red Dogs a hammering as well. It'll be tough and it won't be pretty, but think we will go through. Then for the easy match against Villa!!!
Dames Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Only thing i want is for our fans to be better than last time round. My oh my we were a quiet bunch that night.
teblin Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Only thing i want is for our fans to be better than last time round. My oh my we were a quiet bunch that night. I'd prefer the team to play better to be honest!
The People's Hero Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I'm starting my own thread, because I'm like that. I bloody well hope he plays Ka'ebi, Ferreira and Chambers tonight. Want to go at them.

Ric Flair Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I'm starting my own thread, because I'm like that.I bloody well hope he plays Ka'ebi, Ferreira and Chambers tonight. Want to go at them. Good thread. I really hope he plays Kaebi tonight. I want Ferreira to play as well, but especially Kaebi. Get the lunatic out there, home teams hate it when they have to play against a player with pace and lack of fear like Kaebi. It means they can't focus on their own game of taking it to their opponents. Kaebi up against Cohen will be one of the best end to end attacking you'll be likely to see all season. It's only a matter of time until Ferreira get's picked, surely? Where as Kaebi, I hope he's not seen as 'not settled' yet. If Megson goes in to the game without an attacking midfielder playing and at least one on the bench then i'll be appalled.

Thracian Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 There's the claim on TB that Megson could tonight become the first City manager to win his first game in charge since 1955. It's not how I see it. Megson was clearly in charge on Saturday - even if he didn't pick the team - and the game ended in a draw. Also it's claimed that Megson won't get any credit if he beats lower league Forest nor any brickbats should he lose a game which is perceived as unimportant. That's nonsense. If Megson presides over a decent performance and victory against a local rival he'll deserve every credit. Similarly if his management results in a dire performance and embarrasing defeat he will be answerable. This is the next fixture. There are lots of reasons to take it seriously - not least for Clarkey. I hope Megson shows he can think beyond the blinkered tactics of Saturday and get the best out of what is potentially an attacking squad which is full of fast passing and good movement. Kaebi's hoped for inclusion can only assist that.
