Ultra Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I'll be up for this. Hope Mandaric hasn't got too much arranged for Friday....
Geo V Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 I dont get what MM is doing here at all. Like most things, we will dust it off as time is a healer, especially for a manager that was only here for 5 minutes but to have this meeting after what is expected to be another defeat at Villa is a little silly as people will be even more upset than they are today! I like MM, he is here to get us up and to make some cash along the way but some times he should get out of the media and if he has to, have his say but don't come out with statements like he is "finding it difficult to forget". Its just unnecessary.
Tommeh Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 The Martin Allen singing should be expected. He's appointed a crap manager after Allen for a start! It started at forest because we were shit, Mandaric tried saying how bad it was with Allen in charge, but we got lucky the other night and looked no better against a poor forest side. Most of us have supported AND put money into this club all of our lives. We have the right to say what we want about the club and decide who we think is right for the club. If we're kept in the dark about why Allen was sacked, then it'll carry on until we have a decent manager in charge. When Mandaric packs his bags and thinks his business is done here, we will all still be supporting the club, we have the right to say and sing what we want regarding the club. Exactly, to have allen go is one thing but Megson in is another. Admittedly Tuesday night I was singing "one Martin Allen" (along with many others around me and tbh I can't see why so many are denying they sUng it, it was the majority in my opinion) at the time of being 2-1 down, playing terribly and going out of the cup to one of our fiercest rivals. There was a bit more of that today at Charlton but I didn't join in and I am fully behind megson but supporting someone in their job and still being happy with their appointment are 2 different things, the latter I most certainy am not.

So they don't get labelled morons like some people on here label the vast majority. I'll own up i sang it i was frustrated at the lack of effort and desire the team didn't look like the one Martin Allen sent out against Watford though it was made up of 10/11 players that started on that day. Gary Megson was an uninspiring choice, Milans gunna have to deal with the fact that people didn't like him sacking Allen for this Boon and he's gunna have to take the flak when we are playing shit because people will voice thier opinion.

It's just unnecessary. I wonder how much Billy Liar at the Mercury is winding him up, with tales of what ungrateful lowlife we fans are. He needs to move on, and deal with the mess we're in now. But he's as addicted to publicity as Pete Doherty is to smack!
Matt Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 People may be doing it already but I suggest people write down the questions on a piece of paper, I guess the majority of question will be the same. It was good I found out this last night on the back of a lacklustre proformance and loss because I thought of some questions I wouldn't have if my anger about it had died down, I hope to be adding questions throughout the week.
Floating Fox Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Singing One Martin Allen is pointless, he's not coming back! He was a top manager in my opinon but at the end of the day MM has the final say, not us. voice your fustrations if you want, but at the end of the day were they're to get behind our team, and our players, and the ginger one leading them, weather we're doing good or bad. Megson has had 2 League games in charge, and less than 2 weeks, with none of his own signings in. Give the guy a break.
Nath Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 I shall be in attendance. No reason why Allen wont come back... Milan brought Redknapp back.
Micky Ruddle Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 I think Milan knows he made a mistake, so decided to take it out on the fans.
Joe. Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 I shall be in attendance. No reason why Allen wont come back... Milan brought Redknapp back. He's not coming back! People have to get over this. We should stop singing about him and focus on supporting Megson who is actually our manager instead of insulting him. What good is it going to do? It seriously pisses me off when fans have a dig at our own players/manager/fans.

Rocky Dennis Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Milan should sell the club to Martin George or John Elsome and piss off and spend his millions elsewhere, we were doing just fine without him.
Milky Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Milan should sell the club to Martin George or John Elsome and piss off and spend his millions elsewhere, we were doing just fine without him. You complete clown. People have had plenty of opportunity to put money in and save us, but they didn't come, even in our hour of need. Without Mandaric we were only heading one way, and that's down, having to sell several players to keep going, and maybe another bout of administration.
Joe. Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Milan should sell the club to Martin George or John Elsome and piss off and spend his millions elsewhere, we were doing just fine without him. You are joking right?

Nath Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 You are joking right? He has to be George' daughter
Nath Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Hullfox, you cut out the explantion for it though! Any manager can return to his former club, it isn't against the law or nothing, so that statement that Allen could always return to us, isn't as silly as u think.

If you think im being serious then you're the clown! Are you American? When Milan was asked why he wanted to buy Leicester he talked about our "Fantastic,Passionate Supporters" well all im seeing on here is a bunch of moaning sods complaining about eveything, FFS we were heading back into administration before he came along,he has saved this club! He may or may not get us promoted in 3 years but at least we've got a chance with him on board. We should be backing Milan and whoever he chooses to be manager, personally i think Allen wasnt exactly Mourinho was he? didnt we lose to Blackpool!!
Rocky Dennis Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 You are joking right? Yes i was attempting ironic humour! I sometimes work at the Weetabix factory but my relationship with Martin George ends there!

Flynny Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Don't see why people think this is such a bad idea. He wants to set the record straight once and for all. If it backfires on him it'll be funny, and if it goes well, hopefully we'll go away with a sense of renewed optimism.

A lot of people on here complained when we appointed Allen too, in fact whatever decision Milan makes someone on here moans about it. Weve been shit for at least the last 4 seasons do you expect us to be winning the league easily now? Im just saying as a group of supporters we need to be more patient.
