breadandcheese Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Not rumours, i spoke to 3 players about the situation, 2 of which played against Charlton. They said there was a big cheer between the players at the training ground when the announcement was made when Martin was leaving. The guy was treating them like shit. Like school kids as they put it. Milan was fed up of the little games/tests he was playing and wants the club to be more professionally run. Could you name those three players? I would be interested to see which players felt they were treated like kids. Some players have certainly not pushed on with their development so perhaps a more stern line akin to treating them like a schoolkid may have been necessary.

I wouldn't like to name names, but one plays up front, one in midfield and one in defence! All 3 are fans favourites and if had left i would have been very concerened with the running of the club.
Micky Ruddle Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Hume Wesolowski and Kisnorbo am i right, am i right!!!!
alanf0x Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 HumeWesolowski and Kisnorbo am i right, am i right!!!! 2 out of 3, not bad....but im saying no more!
breadandcheese Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 2 out of 3, not bad....but im saying no more! Which one was wrong? I'd be surprised if it was Kisnorbo, so I'd maybe guess at Stearman being the defender.
alanf0x Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Which one was wrong? I'd be surprised if it was Kisnorbo, so I'd maybe guess at Stearman being the defender. The midfielder. Positions based on Saturdays line up though. Would like to say the names but have respect for these guys for telling me their true feelings on how the club was being run under Allen.
Trumpet Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Respect brudda. Sounds like someones talking out of their arse here..
Loughborough Fox Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 As far as i am concerned, i am finished with the whole matter. I sang for Allen at forest to show my frustration at his dismissal, but now it is done and i am behind Megson and tags. End of. Milan is taking this too far Lets just remember were playing with MA's signings and not Megsons, although he wouldnt of been most fans choice, he's in the hotseat so lets get behind him and give him a chance!

Despite being a popular player, i think that he is a quiet player on the training ground. Hume definitely. Weso too. Tell us, or the admin/mods will ban you grrr!

The Striker though was not in Allens plans and the midfielder could have been a player playing out of position....enough said.

filbertway Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 They're not used to having to actually earn their money and work hard, diddumss.
Simi Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 They're not used to having to actually earn their money and work hard, diddumss. Yeah. To many of them had an easy ride under Kelly. Must be really hard working under someone with new ideas and an idea of how to win football matches, especially for the money they're paid.
Chrysalis Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 The most productive way in the meeting is not asking why allen is gone as already been said MM cannot reveal it and it wont bring MA back. I would probably ask why he appointed a defensive minded manager when he has brought in attacking players like strikers and wingers that will be unlikely to play under megson. Especially when he wants promotion this year. MM paid 9 mill for new shares that were issued this money isnt loaned to the club its what he has paid for control, the club is not making a profit so is a liability when he took it over and probably will remain so until promotion is achieved. The money paying for the transfers is probably borrowed but garuantueed by MM.

eaststandtom Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 all the more reason then why they would want to play their socks off for a new guy - but are they??? Are they bollocks. 2 games in? you're making milan look like mr.patience
eaststandtom Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 for years fans have complained that the club was never honest or open with the fans. no-one spoke. now we have a chairman who is vocal and , on this occasion, offering a face to face meeting. fair play to him. its what we always wanted for all those shipman/pleat years and before when players where sold with no explanation.

I like it how some people are easily pleased.

breadandcheese Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I'm bored with how some people never are... I find that ironic.
weggy1976 Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 2 out of 3, not bad....but im saying no more! Clem. And who could blame him.
Raj Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I'm bored with how some people never are... Yes but we are THE MIGHTY LEICESTER CITY. "The Greatest team the World has ever seen" The team whom all teams fear facing. We should be up there challenging for Leagues and Cups, like we used to.
