ithuriel Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Was that the case? well , it sounds very , probable from what i have heard.
ithuriel Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 i do wonder if we are appointing second rate managers because even with some financial stability nobody that is any good wants to come here
The Reverend Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Have you considered that maybe he was offered a shorter term contract but negotiated it to three years?Three years hardly seems unreasonable, I can't see why you keep kicking up about it. Allen had baggage but the reality of how he adjusted to working at City was far worse than any previous behaviour. We weren't talking about simple eccentricity anymore, it became unacceptable behaviour that would have ended in disaster for the squad and the club. If you have heard the same stories that I have over the last week Thracian, as you intimate you have, then you have to agree that sacking him was for the best. As for appointing him, people make mistakes. I think that's something you're going to have to deal with. Who were the 3 players Daggers? If they were 3 key players (i.e Clemence etc..), then well done Milan, you need harmony in the dressing room. I know we will probably never find out from Milan what happened, but i think thats the only way the fans will forget.

Hume and Norbo are two of the three that I've heard more than a couple of times, the third is unconfirmed.
The Reverend Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Hume and Norbo are two of the three that I've heard more than a couple of times, the third is unconfirmed. Hmmmmmm interesting indeed. Even after he said what he said about Norbo and giving Hume a new contract. Very interesting.
AyewJoking Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 QUOTE(Roy @ Sep 22 2007, 02:11 PM) Is Milan going to reveal the actual reason(s) he sacked Allen? <exasperated voice>There is a confidentiality clause, Milan can not say a thing. </exasperated voice></SPAN></SPAN> Sarcasm not totally lost on you.
Thracian Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Hume and Norbo are two of the three that I've heard more than a couple of times, the third is unconfirmed. Kisnorbo, Weso and McAuley got mentioned on TB. Only one of those was named by my contact - who I don't doubt for a minute.
FleckneyFox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 i think you'll find todays result/performance/tactical shambles is the reason Milan
davieG Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 MM & GM will be praying for a decent performance against Villa now
hebangsthedrums Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Who was the staff member, Birchenall?
Master Fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I'll be interested to see what MM has to gob off about this week?
The Reverend Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 The fans are always right Milan. Well done on appointing that cnut.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I'm going, gonna tell him why i think he is wrong on sacking Allen and giving the job to megson.
Tevez Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Why don't you form a breakaway club if you don't like it?
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Why don't you form a breakaway club if you don't like it? Yea we where thinking about doing that last year on the foxfanzine but im a leicester fan but don't agree with what milan is doing.
Bluefoxtim Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Why don't you form a breakaway club if you don't like it? Just because Mandaric joined the club we are not allowed to be unhappy about things? Fooking hell
Tevez Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 So you wern't agreeing when Milan took us over?
Raj Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Yea we where thinking about doing that last year on the foxfanzine but im a leicester fan but don't agree with what milan is doing. YEAH you are right! we should tell him to stick his millions up his arse and fcuk off some where else. We were much better off without him eh???
Raj Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Just because Mandaric joined the club we are not allowed to be unhappy about things? Fooking hell We were unhappy BEFORE he joined the club so what difference does it make if we are unhappy now? Atleast this time we have someone who is willing to spend some of his money helping us rather than no one!
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 YEAH you are right!we should tell him to stick his millions up his arse and fcuk off some where else.We were much better off without him eh???Sorry he got us on the cheap for a start and spent how much on players ? Millions and Millions .. Why do people keep saying that he hasn't been spending big and never has. Even at pompey he never spent huge on players.

Daggers Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Sorry he got us on the cheap for a start and spent how much on players ? Millions and Millions .. Why do people keep saying that he hasn't been spending big and never has. Even at pompey he never spent huge on players. Have you and the rest of the Brains Trust worked out what City would do without him?
Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 LMFAO, Yeh right. It was not even over a million pound. 25 Million i see you read the sun. Whatever he payed, it wasn't 'cheap'.
