SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Wonder why "Spider" Kalajc in goal for Milan he has been getting a game there league games
Ashley Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Devastating. Thats Liverpools Song. Plus the fan who ran on the pitch when Celtic scored there scored has been given a life time ban he hardly touched Dida, Dida went to run after the person who hit him
Ultra Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 I think you'll find Celtic sang it first in the 1950s. Liverpool copied them.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 I think you'll find Celtic sang it first in the 1950s. Liverpool copied them. Aye. They also sing "Fields of Anfield Road" in lieu of "Fields of Athenry" which is much more of a lame ripoff
purpleronnie Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 And lets face it celtic fans do it alot better than liverpool fans.
Koke Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Dida was disgraceful, I'd definately give him a ban. It was like he had two thought processes as well after he started chasing him and then went down afterwards. Dida is a ****. He needs to learn from Graham Stack
Zingari Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/7029483.stm "fan" is banned for life ; lets hope thats the end of it
Floating Fox Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Because Rangers and Celtic buy up the SPL's best players. Because they give Scottish internationals a chance to play top level football and aid their development. It also brings prestige and money into the Scottish game which can never be bad. It also makes even more bias towards a 2 teams league, it's certainly not good for any other scottish fans that aren't old firm....
Charnwood Norris Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWbA0DS9Qas Deda's delayed reaction was farcical only slightly bettered by compatriot Rivaldo's against Turkey during WC 2002.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 It also makes even more bias towards a 2 teams league, it's certainly not good for any other scottish fans that aren't old firm.... It will get better with the SPL 1 / SPL 2 structure, as there is no way in hades that bottom 6 teams like St Mirren or Gretna can deal with the top 6 Glasgow/Edinburgh/Aberdeen clubs. It's like League Two sides competing in the Championship. It's always good to see an upset (as long as the Celts aren't copping it ). Hibees are second above the Arse atm after beating them at the shite shower. What's more Hearts took second place in the 05/06 season.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7034017.stm Light punishment for both parties in my opinion.
Finnegan Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 Disagree. Think that's pretty fair. Really, if a fan had just streaked across the pitch people would barely be batting an eyelid at Celtic. The only difference here is he tapped Dida on his way through. Huge fooking load of melodrama, imo.
Brainy Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 NO. NEXT Funny thing is, his first match back in the Champions League will be against Celtic
ASH17LCFC Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7034017.stmLight punishment for both parties in my opinion. Not really, Dida got what he deserved and Cetic are not known for causing trouble at any european games before and is like there first offence and why should one moron spoil it for everyone ? Never thought i would say this but .... Well done UEFA.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7034017.stmLight punishment for both parties in my opinion. Sets a bit of a bizarre precedent though. Even if it was only a tap, Dida was still struck by a fan running onto the pitch.
mkingy Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 Good to see UEFA clamping down on diving/melodramatics though?
ASH17LCFC Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 Sets a bit of a bizarre precedent though. Even if it was only a tap, Dida was still struck by a fan running onto the pitch. What so if you tap someone on the face. Celtic because of one moron should be kicked out europe and fined 10 million pound ? What a world we are living in these days. He struck him, you make it out he did a godfather job on him. Did the villa keeper go down like he had been shot. When that B-ham lad came on the pitch and slapped his face ????

When that B-ham lad came on the pitch and slapped his face ???? Blimey exaggeration, I know you weren't on at me but £25,000 is small change for Celtic and won't affect their finances at all. Nobody is saying about fining Celtic £10 million or anything near that, but it seems to me that Celtic have got pretty lucky.
Finnegan Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 Sets a bit of a bizarre precedent though. Even if it was only a tap, Dida was still struck by a fan running onto the pitch. Tens of thousands of people in the stands, even if you make a wall of rock'ard stewards around the pitch, you can't guarantee nobody's going to get through. What do you want to do? Go back to having huge fences around the front of stands to stop people getting onto the pitch? I appreciate what you're saying, but heavily punishing a club because somebody managed to get on the pitch seems a little extreme. It's not like he'd managed to get an offensive weapon into the ground or caused a major scare to thousands of people.

First offence and they banned the moron. Not like when you go aboard and they still making monkey noises and fighting like its 1984 and what do UEFA do about that ? Fine the clubs like 7,000 pound. UEFA are a disgrace and if Celtic got banned. Would show why UEFA has a problem with British clubs. They always blame us. Never the Roma fans or the Galatasaray fans making the trouble always us.
