Alexikokopops Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 I'd be careful about waxing money on this lot I had a chore getting cash of people, think I got £2 off Hullfox a pint of James and Fez and £16 of Thracian and I laid down £35 for the picth. I owe you a pint.
lcfc_jme Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 If we had Cobbo I actually do think we'd beat you if you put the same team out but unfortunatley we don't. I was actually looking forward to playing against Cobbo - he's a quality player. I definitely think it'd have been a lot harder for us had he been playing, though I don't think he'd have been enough to inspire you to victory.
Bert Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Nah we've got Sparkey and Samir now who we can play on the left, too proper defenders, and the Singh will retain his place for his fantastic last ditch efforts.Looking at the names we've got down we can get a team easy, maybe even three or fours subs this time as well so we aren't all bolloxed after 25 minutes. By 25 I mean 5. If we had Cobbo I actually do think we'd beat you if you put the same team out but unfortunatley we don't. If i said to you, winning the game doesn't matter to us you'd believe me right? Good, 'cos we're desperate to win. Sparky is good and i'm looking forward to playing against him. In all honesty, i hope the game is played the same way as last time, with a great bunch of people enjoying it. The rivalry just makes it more fun.

Simi Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Shame the immensely talented Ched is not on our team. Can't have everything.

I can't remember if I paid or not? If not then another pint will be heading your way... Cobbo has had managerial experience (Not just FM, ha), so him and Hulleh would make a good managerial partnership. I've not played football since I attempted pre-season - I'm in perfect condition for the O21's then.
Finnegan Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 I might have shimmied off with paying last time. Heh.

Suppose he might be waiting to see if it's on or not.
The People's Hero Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Mablo - I'd send you some extra money if I had it. In fact, if my crunch meeting with boss goes well - you'll get it shortly!

Scow Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Foxestalk O21's manager Hull Fox is set to become the new Leicester City manager on a three-year deal. Hull Fox, 57, held talks with chairman Milan Mandaric over the weekend and impressed the Serbian with his ambitious plans for the club. It is thought Mandaric has agreed a compensation package with Foxestalk O21's in the region of £300,000. An inside source at the club said: ''Milan has interviewed many quality candidates for the job, but Hull Fox stood above the rest." "What impressed Milan was the way he was able to get a team lacking in ability, fitness and movement to score three goals in a football game." Hull Fox is expected to appoint former England International Jason Wilcox as assistant manager.

Scow Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Steve McLaren is set to make a sensational return to football management with Foxestalk O21's. England flop McLaren is set to be appointed on a one-year deal after former manager Hull Fox was put on gardening leave by the club. Hull Fox was set to take over at Leicester City, but Mandaric has opted for Ian Holloway after he resigned from Plymouth yesterday. Foxestalk O21's supporters are thought to be planning a protest at the choice of new manager - talk of a possible boycott of games has been mooted. An inside source said: "The fans are furious at the decision to replace Hull Fox with McLaren - it's an absolute disgrace. "He's the worst manager in England - we might be the worst team in the country, but do we really deserve this?" The club refused to comment on McLaren, but said they were close to making an appointment.
