Koke Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 That was outside the area! Fook off referee. That was clearly the turning point.Georgia 1 - 0 Scotland. Get in! In all fairness, Rooney's goal also looked offside. An eye for an eye.
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 In all fairness, Rooney's goal also looked offside. An eye for an eye. I thought Rooney was on to be honest.
The Stig Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 How annoying was David Platt's commentary... BBC - Mark Lawrenson ITV - David Pleat Sky - David Platt I know which one I'd have. The other two are the most irritating people on the planet, I thought David Platt was very good. The british media are constantly biased towards the british teams, he wasn't tonight, he was honest and did well.
Koke Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 I thought Rooney was on to be honest. Maybe so. But remember they had a goal disallowed in Wembley few weeks back. Shit happens. And no point looking at the ref for a scapegoat. We are shit and McClaren is a clown.
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Maybe so. But remember they had a goal disallowed in Wembley few weeks back. Shit happens. And no point looking at the ref for a scapegoat. We are shit and McClaren is a clown. I'm not looking for a scapegoat. I'm stating that the "penalty" was the turning point, which it was. We were pretty poor yes, but if he hadn't given that pen, we wouldn't have lost. Those are the facts in my eyes. The pitch was a disgrace aswell to be fair
Master Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 England are lame. I'm kind of glad we're not going to qualify. Even if we did make it with Mclaren still in charge it'll be a complete joke anyway. Might as well save the whole country going England football team crazy for no reason.

Hopefully we'll sack Mclaren now get lucky in croatia get a favour from israel & the worlds no longer ending
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Hopefully we'll sack Mclaren now get lucky in croatia get a favour from israel & the worlds no longer ending It's at Wembley.
Simi Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 It's at Wembley. I think he may be on about some stag do? Maybe?
Thracian Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Why so many men behind the ****ing ball. It never, ever, ever works. It's common sense. We just seemed to be hopelessly swinging at the ball. What a horrible feeling it's going to next July by the looks of things. We never learn. Score one and defend it is the only way the nmorons who run our game know. Except that it doesn't work. Again and again and again. As Peter, Paul and Mary would say... "When Will They Ever Learn?"

No excuse.

Brainy Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 These are prefessional footballers who get paid millions of pounds, they should be able to cope with a change of pitch. No excuse. Not really, nothing about a pitch is in their contract. But the change of pitch shouldn't be an excuse.
BigGibbo Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 It's at Wembley. Right you are i meant get lucky against Croatia
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Both Alan Hansen and David Moyes just said England played "really, really well". Russia had run out of ideas by the time that pen came about.
blueoveru Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Not really, nothing about a pitch is in their contract. But the change of pitch shouldn't be an excuse. The writing was on the wall early on Russia were up for this, and we have no excuses just another dismal display, we are out and thats the end of it we can beat croatia 6-0 but it would'nt be any good, as I cant see Russia losing games now.
Master Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Both Alan Hansen and David Moyes just said England played "really, really well".Russia had run out of ideas by the time that pen came about. Well i only saw the last half hour and thought they were not looking too good for that period of the game. You can make excuses all day about it shouldn't have been a pen, or Robinson should have made the save, Gerrard should have put that chance away but at the end of the day England have been shit for years now. Drawing at home against Macedonia cost England qualification. I'm not really that bothered anyway. The last World Cup was sh*t so we're not really missing out on much apart from the odd piss up down the pub to watch a rubbish England team.
Brainy Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Any chance of Israel giving Russia the win? GET IN Georgia 2-0!!!

Georgia 2 - 0 Scotland ! . These Georgian teenagers are playing really well.
Floating Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 I'm just telling you a neutral opinion. Georgia 2 - 0 Scotland ! . These Georgian teenagers are playing really well. Weak, come on the huns.
Asha Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 I'm just telling you a neutral opinion. Georgia 2 - 0 Scotland ! . These Georgian teenagers are playing really well. What a shame ..........
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 "Over the past several years, migration from Israel to Russia is around 50,000, whereas migration from Russia to Israel is about 10,000. In all probability, Jews have intermarried more with Russian Gentiles than in any other European nation" so does this mean they like each other or not?
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Really want to have my rant, im so pissed off with being a England Fan.... All it seems to be is "England Expects" Shite in the paper on the news and then as usual its the fans who suffer... US!!! I did watch the game and i thought we did play well upto the penalty, then after that, GAME OVER!! I am not confident when i watch any England team play.... but all that aside we shouldnt be struggling in this group... No disrespect to Russia or Croatia because they are good sides... very difficult in fact... but we should be beating them.... It always seems just to be a over hyped thing when any England team plays, everybody jumps on the bandwagon....The media get excited, everyone gets lashed (which is fun by the way) and then bang we are left to wonder what might of been...... fooking shit!!!!!!!!!!!! Not good enough!!!
