Typical england I'm afraid, we panic when things are tight its always been the same, nothing ever changes, we can never kill games off, thats why we have never won anything or even got to a final in 40 years. Thats the most irratating thing, we never change, I don't even think its a skill problem its a mental one, maybe its just something in our gene's I don't know but its getting really really old. I hope the manager dosen't get the blame but he will, thats not the answer its the way we react when thinhs are close that we have to work on.

Blue Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 What an appallingly inept performance and tactics, we didn't even try to win it for 80 minutes - Rooney used as our long throw in expert - WTF we needed him in the penalty area. Hoofing balls up to Owen and Rooney was never going to win this game for us. SWP was virtually playing as an extra full back for most of the game. The FA mess up another era of English football!!!!!!!!!! Still there's always the Rugby.

That's the most depressing bit about it all, it makes me want to cry! can't imagine what it's gonna be like next June, Scotland going to Austria and we aren't and we'll all still be feeling shit from Leicester getting relegated! :(

But with russia beating us they will have new found confidence and will go to both andorra and israel and win. Croatia arn't a bad side either. Tough to beat them aswell.
