leicesterChick Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 But you dont even need expensive gear to exercise do ya?Just basic walking is a good starter. get some half decent trainers and off you go That is well put! Just getting out and walking around is a great start.
Joe. Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 It appears I'm borderline underweight/OK I'm about 5 ft 10/11 and 9 and a half stone.
MC Prussian Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Stand next to me. I make everyone feel like a giant. Quality, not quantity matters. We love you, Lisa. As for obesity, I don't mind overweight people. Question is, can they do/do they want to do something against it when one can see how it affects their daily life and feel-good level? If it's really a pain in the ass, then they should definitely see a doctor. Genetically inherited obesity is a tough one to battle and the last mean's often an operation where they insert you one of those stomach (rubber?) bands in order to keep your appetite down, so most people having one lose weight quite quickly. Anything caused by malnutrition's really evil.
Mikey Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 It appears I'm borderline underweight/OK I'm about 5 ft 10/11 and 9 and a half stone. I'm Underweight/OK according to this. 5 ft 4\5 and 8 1\4 stone.
Rincewind Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Sometimes it depends on what genes you inherit. My brother is thin and can eat almost anything. His wife is fairly big. His is like him tall and thinnish. His daughter takes after her mopther and is big and she is only about 17. But saying that the weight or obesity can be kept under control. A person because of their bone structure may never be a matchstick but the can avoid risingto giantic size. Moderation is the key. In how you get excercise and in your diet.
Daggers Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Moderation is the key. In how you get excercise and in your diet. But not in the bedroom Ken - never in the bedroom.
Guest Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Quality, not quantity matters. We love you, Lisa. Bless you, my Swiss cheese! To be honest, if people want to eat themselves into an early grave, it should be up to them. At the end of the day, if you cannot help yourself, then tough. I'm a hard-nosed cow, aren't I.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I turned into a fat bastard briefly there, have lost 12kg and only just entered the OK region Good exercise and proper diet
Asha Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I exercise too much, probably why i'm borderline anorexic.
Head Honcho Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 It isn't what you eat, it's how much you eat. Admittedly 4 big macs a day isn't healthy but most of the the fat fvcks you see around town just supplement their diet with big macs-it isn't the only thing they eat.

It depends though, if you eat 5000 tonnes of salad, you won't gain that much wait, will you?
potter3 Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 It depends though, if you eat 5000 tonnes of salad, you won't gain that much wait, will you? What a stupid example
Rincewind Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 If you eat that much salad you will become weak. You need a varied amount of different vitermins. Iron, calcium etc. Meat and two veg is about right. For veggies there are adequate subtistutes. BHalance and moderation is enough to live a healthy life.
Rincewind Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Is a spicy chicken kebab with salad healthy eating?
