Manwell Pablo Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 For those who want to check.. Who started this fooking thread?? Im 6.1 and 13.5 which is about right. It's a bit harsh on the over-weight/obese scale, I don't think I'd look really fat if I weighed 16 stone. However Clincally obese would take some doing, 20 1/2 stone. Ouch
BigGibbo Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 You're not female "Skinny bitch" is quite common! Yes maybe you have touched up on something there its about jealousy Men are jealous of fat & women jealous of thin of course! I should make millions a book Edit:P.s how do you do a strikethrough
Guest Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 BMI is misleading. All professional rugby players would at least be overweight, many are obese according to this, and yet they could be carrying less fat (the harmful stuff) than a supposed "normal" bloke who did no exercise.
Milky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 What are your thoughts on foreigners in the country Enoch?!! Don't get him started on them I tend to vote Liberal Democrat by the way!
Kent Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Author Posted 17 October 2007 An obese smoker. The Governmants worst nightmare. Worse than that, Mablo.. A jobless, obese smoker. Honestly, if I was a dog, they'd put me down Back to the skipping...
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Fatness is the fault of parents in the case of kids otherwise the individual. Seriously, some little tubby fookers out there feed their face with far too much stuff in the canteen. When I was growing up I had a sandwich and other assorted healthy stuff. Rarely ate junk food. No kid of mine is gonna be a lard arse - it's bad for self esteem as well as health. I also generally find that only fat people are skeptical about BMI.
Rincewind Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Someones mentioned rugby players. I think they are pretty fit (healthwise) Also I'd bet on a super heavyweight boxer V a flyweight any day. Maybe it is just a natual evolution process for people to be overweight. A century or so ago the average height was much less. It seems strange that a place like a gym which is there to provide afacilities for people to improve their health sell products which the persons should be avoiding like crisps and chocolate. Theres a niche in the market for some caterers to get a contract to provide a heathy canteen. I just guessed my BMJ thing. I am about 5.10 and 14st which makes me 28 overweight. Don't think thats too bad. It starts at 25. I'll weigh myself when I go bed.. Just afraid the figure will go up. Re governments worse nightmare. How about a jobless obese smoking Derby supporter?
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 How about a jobless obese smoking Derby supporter? You could have just said Derby supporter, and we could have assumed the rest.

The reason I mentioned it is because BMI doesn't take into account the differences between fat and muscle. Fat is less dense than muscle, and consequently muscle weighs more than fat.
Daggers Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 The reason I mentioned it is because BMI doesn't take into account the differences between fat and muscle. Fat is less dense than muscle, and consequently muscle weighs more than fat. Wooohoo! I'm less dense. Hey, hang on a minute...

MPH Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Agreed and a good point. But given that smokers KNOW it is killing them, surely fat people KNOW Big Mac's are not helping their weight?? So is it their fault? Could the Government do more in waking people up to the dangers of over-eating / eating the wrong foods any better than they have done?? government could be doing more but of course people are responsible for what they eat... What i mean about the government is a simple instant cappacino you can buy in the supermarkets has 66g of sugar per 100g content. That should be highlighted more. Now i know thats a bit of a silly example but unused sugar turns to fat, ect. there are many other things that are not highlighted. Diet coke is just as bad for you as 'normal' coke ( artificial sweetners, ect) excessive drinking of all carbonated drinks bloats and enlarges the stomach.. many many things that people are not aware of.... too many to mention all in here..
Alexikokopops Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 All skinny people can put on weight though. Take on more energy than you use up. Basic stuff. My housemate of 3 years used to eat chicken chargrills, burgers, chips, gerkins or McDonalds every day (no joke) and was still underweight when he finished Uni in June. All while doing such exercise as playing online poker and, in our third year only, playing a 20 minute 5-a-side match every couple of weeks. I've never seen anyone eat so much crap and still stay thin. I've decided he's a medical freak.

Monk Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Is Manwell really 6ft 1? You didnt seem that tall when you were stealing seats from Selhurst Park? I weight 11 stone, about the weight of a good sized ape

Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Well I'm 5 ft 10... I always feel quite tall though cos I'm usually stood next to TPH.
Geo V Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Im about 6ft and flitter between 15 1/2 and 16 stone. I'm a lovely mixture of fat and muscle after years of boxing, kick boxing and training combined with the love of all foods fried and cakes via Greggs. I should really be playing rugby. The bad news is that I'm off to the States for two months in 6 days which should mean I come back at about 30 stone. The good news is they are big buggers over there so finding Armani jeans sized 50 wont be an issue.
Monk Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Well I'm 5 ft 10... I always feel quite tall though cos I'm usually stood next to TPH. And Joe.... and Lildave.... Not much of a height contest really is it?
