RedOnRed Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Sounds fairly impossible to me and I don't think it's a big problem anyway. Think of all the best/top managers in the business, a lot of them get even better offers but the best bosses tend to see their contracts out - which says a bit.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 24 October 2007 Author Posted 24 October 2007 It's really quite staggering that threads like this still get created.Have you lost your f**king minds? A brief moment of thought is all that is required. Seriously. take a chill pill mate, I don't think this will happen either... just idly speculating
GianEmmo Zola Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 That would be aweful, same as gerry taggert. They might have been great players and ledgends but lets leave it their and remember them for that. We need a manager that isnt new to the game, or is too old. Lets get the righ tman this time. were did roy keane start???? he took sunderland up didnt he? roy keane - legend roy keane - great player they have to start somewhere
Raj Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Chance of Allen being reappointed is the same as me being Heavyweight Champion of the world. Zero
Brainy Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Chance of Allen being reappointed is the same as me being Heavyweight Champion of the world.Zero No emoticon
Mr Happy Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 were did roy keane start???? he took sunderland up didnt he? roy keane - legend roy keane - great player they have to start somewhere The advantage Keane had was that he played under one of the greatest managers of the modern times though I spose that Walshy and Taggs did play under anothe rof the greatest managers we've ever had also so maybe it would work, who knows unless their given the chance its not like our season could get any worse is it? Well unless of course we back track and re-sign MA as gaffer meaning no offense to the bloke but I said it about joey gudjonsson and lennon, we shouldn't be lookin at former players/managers coming back and doing their previous job here. We need to move onwards and upwards with new players/manager. So I don't want MM to sign MA again.
Jack Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Would never happen, i don't think i'd want it to happen either.
Wezleylowski Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Chance of Allen being reappointed is the same as me being Heavyweight Champion of the world.Zero I heard your half way there already
Martin Hendo for god. Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 when he went left, went to Saints, left again and rejoined Milan... Won't happen but worth a punt!! What we need is a big name manager who can get the fans on his side. Who wants to take over City at the moment? But then again, a couple of years salary for a few weeks work don't sound too bad. Paul Jewel would be fab, but if he won't come back into the game for Prem Bolton, he won't do it for City. Put me down for Grayson with Little as director of football.
City Fan Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Chance of Allen being reappointed is the same as me being Heavyweight Champion of the world.Zero But surely you could have been a contender?
Raj Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I heard your half way there already Tis true im afraid!!!
Wezleylowski Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Tis true im afraid!!! I feel bad now, sorry Raj

I really think people should pay more attention to Grayson, Look what he`s done with blackpool and we are a far bigger club than they are! Grayson wouldnt think twice about managing the club he used to play for and also he would make the players have a bit of pride while wearing the shirt. We need someone to motivate players and can read the game and can change a game if were losing, the only other person i would like to see linked with us also is Hoddle, underated as a manager i think.
Raj Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I feel bad now, sorry Raj Ahhh forget it. Im only here for people to throw abuse at me!!!! P.S Grayson would be a good call, but would he want to leave the steady ship of Balckpool where he is adoing a great job with little expectations to come to LCFC????

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 If Martin Allen gets re-appointed fox talk will crash with the amount of pointless similar thread being started
James. Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 F**king hell, underage?! He's about 6 foot 4 and hasn't got so much on top either. I'd sell him alcohol. take a chill pill mate, I don't think this will happen either... just idly speculating Don't ever use that phrase in response to one of my posts again.

Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 No chance whatsoever Although on SSN he said he was looking for his 'Harry Redknapp'.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 That's life mate, happened to us with Little and McGhee mid-season too. Unless you turn into one of the biggest clubs in Europe it's going to happen to you for the foreseeable future as well. And as well it should. Managers deserve to go onto better things as much as players who perform at a high level for a consistent period. It's all very well saying you want transfer windows for managers when you're top of your division but what if you'd appointed some numpty and were staring relegation in the face? Wouldn't be such a bright idea then, would it? Don't try and explain it to him, he's from Milton Keynes, they only found out what football was a couple of years ago.
RedOnRed Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Don't try and explain it to him, he's from Milton Keynes, they only found out what football was a couple of years ago. Don't you mean just over 3 years ago?
Staf Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I would like to say allen back but to be honest there is no chance of it happening
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Don't you mean just over 3 years ago? If you want to split hairs.
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Don't ever use that phrase in response to one of my posts again. Take a chill pill, matey. He was only messing.
