OriginalRobboFOX Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I would imagine Burrows will. At first I thought, 'Nah, Tags will stay at the club he loves' but then I thought he has links with Bolon too, a new manager maybe would not like Tags influence on the crowd, Premiership club aswell (albeit not for long).... Whats everyone else think??

Fat Ron Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Taggs never! Burrows probably! End of It all depends on who comes in. Whoever it is may have his own staff and there be no space for Tags. Will just have to wait & see.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Taggart should drop back to assistant first team coach or reserve team manager if he stays. The new manager should be able to bring in his own staff.
Tabou Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Agree with Fez. New manager = his choice of staff. However, I doubt taggart will go to Bolton. After all, it wasn't Megson who appointed him....

Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 New management should bring in new staff. Burrows was Megsons man, I'm surprised he's not already gone to be honest. But leaving Taggart on his own could be disastrous.
Tevez Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Burrows will be with Leicester until the new managers staff come in, it happened at Forest when Megson went and Burrows and the new Notts County manager was left as joint caretaker. Can't wait to see what team Burrows and Taggart play, I hope it's completely different to Megson's Shit.

Not that it makes much difference but I'm pedantic.
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Congratulations. Someone has stumbled across the pertinent point here. Congratulations. Fantastic use of the word pertinent. A word not used even half enough these days!
Staf Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I think that Tags will stay and Burrows will leave

EXILEDFOX Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 What do you think ? He is an ex-Bolton player and he is liked by Megson...... I would hate to see Gerry jump ship too.
Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 They do seem to have a quite strong relationship together. Anybody that's being watching Sky Sports News will have seen the things Taggart has had to say about Megson, all positive, he's said he learnt a lot from Megson. I reckon if Megson wants him, he will go, why not though? Whoever we bring in may want new staff, leaving Taggart on his own. I'd expect Burrows to follow as well.
ASH17LCFC Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Can't see him going but when we get a new manager i don't think they will won't Taggart about.
Lovejoy Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Saw an interview with Burrows on SSN earlier seemed to be enjoying himself (as were all the other players) and said he didn't want to hear about Megson, and was having a joke with Shaun Newton whilst doing the interview. Could be wrong but he looked like he wants to stay.

City Fan Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Where as Taggs on SSN says he hasnt had time to think about it yet.
renards Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Taggs lives (unless he has just moved) in Rothey, got 1M signing on fee when he moved from Bolton, had a decent period as a top earner with city. Hopefully his love of the club and place and not driving 200 miles a day out weigh spending half a season in the prem.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Who is Burrows anyway? I don't think I'd ever heard of him before we brought him in.
smokey Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Who is Burrows anyway? I don't think I'd ever heard of him before we brought him in. Was with megson at his succesfull WBA days! So must know is stuff
