WetFlannel Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 It would be a disaster, games all the way over there just for advertisements sake. Out of order imo
Brainy Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 It would be a disaster, games all the way over there just for advertisements sake. Out of order imo Thats the only reason I put 50/50. Still more of a no for me.
WetFlannel Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 This is another fooking excuse to include more 'foreigness' to the premiership
Trumpet Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Unsure for me. Hail the words of someone that doesn't go to many matches. Think of the fans?! Imagine Leicester saying we're going to play in the USA next month. It'd be a money making, commercialised joke.
Asha Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Hail the words of someone that doesn't go to many matches. Think of the fans?! Imagine Leicester saying we're going to play in the USA next month. It'd be a money making, commercialised joke. Agree, it's all financially involved.
Brainy Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 Hail the words of someone that doesn't go to many matches. Can we delete this thread please, and perhaps somebody can start a new one. Somebody thats actually been to a Leicester match, because the fans who haven't watched Leicester cannot comment on a subject like this.

WetFlannel Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Imagine Manchester united soccer club vs. Arsenal soccer club every week
Asha Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Hail the words of someone that doesn't go to many matches. Think of the fans?! Imagine Leicester saying we're going to play in the USA next month. It'd be a money making, commercialised joke. Realised what you said, and actually you're wrong. Leicester aren't in the premiership and so wouldn't even be considered. Where Leicester fans and in terms of Walkers imo 'true' leicester fans are based is nothing to do with this topic.
Nod.E Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 I dont see how this could work. It won't. Hopefully.
Joe. Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 For American "soccer", the chances are that if it was done regularly then it would bost the profile of football in the USA. However, it would do nothing good for the English game.
Raj Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Tis a fcuking joke. Leave Yanks with their games like rounders and mens netball and rugby with blokes padded up to fcuk. yanks...Leave Football alone

To be honest I agree with him, fans that go to games would see why this is a complete disaster, an armchair fan like yourself (No offence, I understand it's hard to get to games) wouldn't quite understand! EDIT: To be fair, the MLS is actually a decent league, dont agree with the slating of their footy & although completly off-topic there are aspects to the way that they run the game over there that are much better than ours.
placidcasual Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 No, no, and no.Bloody American's. Amazing how the person advocating it is Icelandic.
Brainy Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 Andy - it doesnt matter, I can understand why this is a bad thing - if I didn't i'd be saying yes.
