FilboFox Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 The final poll for the new manager... hopefully he'll last longer than the others we've had this season.
Fat Ron Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 The final poll for the new manager... hopefully he'll last longer than the others we've had this season. What about the 3 at Clubs Milan mentioned.... Out of these 3, Royle !!
Raikkonen Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 I dont't want to be saying this but out of all of them it would have to be Joe Royal
FilboFox Posted 5 November 2007 Author Posted 5 November 2007 What about the 3 at Clubs Milan mentioned.... Out of these 3, Royle !! Didn't know about them... who are they?
Lovejoy Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 The final poll for the new manager... hopefully he'll last longer than the others we've had this season. Not if it's Sounness or Reid Gotta be Royal out of these three
Fat Ron Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Didn't know about them... who are they? Dowie is one "for Sure" as he would say, Not sure who the others are. Milan has said that he has a list of 6 or 7, 3 or 4 out of work and 3 currently with clubs. And Jewell is missing..

Damn... will need to get someone with a little more "know how" to sort it out in the poll then...
Mark Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 If this is what we've got to choose from I tend to wonder what Milan has been upto since Megson upped sticks.
Blue Bob Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 From what I have read Milan said he had a list of 6 candidates, three of which were working for other clubs. He has said that he has interviewed the three in the poll - Souness, Royle and Reid. Milan says he now has a short list of three managers but he has not said who these three are. There is a hope that he has spoken to Souness, Royle and Reid and decided he doesnt like any of them. I guess the next we will hear is an appointment of a manager or some chairman coming out publically that Milan is after his manager. As Milan has stated he hopes to have a manager in by Saturday lets hope he is persuing a Manager that is currently working.
FilboFox Posted 5 November 2007 Author Posted 5 November 2007 Does anyone know the other 3 managers... if it is 3 working managers, it means Jewell is out of the running completely!
teblin Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 think theres more than just those 3. Out of those Souness
Scow Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Can someone actually explain why Souness would be a good choice? He's terrible. - The Scottish League is crap, so forget his 'achievements' at Rangers. - Failed at Liverpool. - Galatasaray - see Rangers. - Failed at Southampton - think Ali Dia. - Failed at Torino. - Failed at Benfica. - Decent job at Blackburn - promoted, a 6th place finish and a League Cup win. Avoided relegation the penultimate season before going to Newcastle - their fans glad to see him go. - Failed at Newcastle. Apart from a decent spell at Blackburn (where he had plenty of money to spend), he's been largely shite. Another example of a great player but shite manager.
lookwhaticando Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Royle. Hands down, no contest. I just dread to think who we'll pick up if Royle suddenly becomes hot property like Megson did! Interesting to note that of the 41 votes cast so far, not a single one has gone to Reid... in a list that also contains Souness! lol

That really is worse than I thought, Royle is Mourinho compared to this clown and Reid.
Ultra Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Who's the bugger who voted Reid??? Clearly not a City fan..
Thracian Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Well it will be interesting who our beloved chairman chooses on the back of that - because there seems to be no doubts in the fans minds.
