ronnup Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 City relying on their midfield marvels by Bill Anderson Leicester City's makeshift midfield marvels will be the key to their chances of more Championship points at Preston tonight (7.45). The visitors are set to name an unchanged team from the draw at Colchester on Saturday. That means the central midfield duo of Darren Kenton and James Chambers will again have to fill the breach in the wake of a series of injuries. There is still no sign of skipper Stephen Clemence or James Wesolowski returning. But City caretaker assistant manager Gerry Taggart has no qualms about using the two stand-ins again. Nothing story Iknow but it's so fook ing annoying that with all the players brought in we have two injuries and end up with a completely make-shift and shitty Midfield. Oh well, more loan strikers is it Milan?
Cheese Me Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 To be fair the two of them are doing quite well. It is bizarre the number of right backs we're managing to get on the field at any one time though. I'm amazed Kaebi and Maybury haven't seen more game time - we could have half a team of right back out there
azza89 Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Well it wasn't the smartest move in loaning out Kishishev when we haven't got enough midfielders as it is.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Well it wasn't the smartest move in loaning out Kishishev when we haven't got enough midfielders as it is. We have though, we've got Serggiiooo who can play there, and Kaebi who has played there before, we just don't want to play them. Like Kishishev.
The People's Hero Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Kishishev is a spent force. Legs have gone. Chambers has an astonishing engine.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Has a magical first touch. Magical? Spell binding I'd say.
Finnegan Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Magical? Spell binding I'd say. Simply wanderful vision.
jonw88 Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Where the hell is that Ferrari bloke? Surely being from Benfica, he should be semi-good, better than what we have now, but why isn't he even getting considered? If he's injured then fair enough, but with all our other midfielders out, we need to play some proper midfielders to cover for them, or else get some other people in on loan i.e. some promising youngsters from arsenal/man utd that all the other teams are doing.

I believe he is injured and before that not fit, at least he didn't look it in the reserve games I saw.

As in the Car or the Roma centre half?

Too much flair, not enough Lestoh.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I actually found out something very interesting about Sergio Hellings today. He's made 46 apperances for Heracles Almelo, in the Eredivisie as well, I didn't know that I thought he'd only played for Ajax Anderlect and the Appledorn. He can't be that bad then. Mind you I suppose neither of our internationals can be "that bad" either but they clearly are.
The People's Hero Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 If I was a football manager and I had a player called Sergio, not only would I play him, I'd play him wherever he wanted to play.
The People's Hero Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Simply wanderful vision. You'll take a lot of (broom)stick for that comment, but I enjoyed it. Kevin (w)Horlock.
City Fan Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 N'Gotty Stearman Maybury Kaebi Kenton Chambers Kishishev (?) Why the fork have we got 6/7 right backs on our books, but only two left wingers (both who are injured and shite)?
Jimmy Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 N'Gotty *Stearman * Maybury Kaebi Kenton Chambers Kishishev (?) ** Why the fork have we got 6/7 right backs on our books, but only two left wingers (both who are injured and shite)? * = actually a CB **= a midfielder
