mancunianfox Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 They really don't know what to do with Sergio Hellings do they?
David O'Leary Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 I may make my first apperence at a reserves match with me old man
Flynny Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 They really don't know what to do with Sergio Hellings do they? As was stated numerous times, he was bought as a promising young player, "one for the future". The fact that he's not appearing doesn't make him a dud. Yet.
Bojimha Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 how much is entry usually? I went to the friendly in pre-season and parking was a bit of a mare, I presume it wont be the same this time? I might pop along to it but not sure I fancy sitting there in the cold on me tod as my gf is on nights tonight.

Flynny Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Nielsen Kaebi Cox Hellings Rowe-Turner Garner Ferriera Hayes McKay Odihambo Djeziri If one or more of these has a stormer it'll solve problems.
Thracian Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 As was stated numerous times, he was bought as a promising young player, "one for the future". The fact that he's not appearing doesn't make him a dud. Yet. I'd agree with that. Hellings does look like he could play okay in England. He's quite tall, wins a bit in the air, has decent close control and passes the ball quite tidily over a fairly wide range. His big fault is that like a lot of continentals and a good few youngsters generally he likes to dwell on the ball and that costs the attack its impetus. If his three or four touches can be redued to two and he can find the drive to get into more forward positions he might break through. But it won't be easy and even if he does it he's still got to compete with King and that won't be easy cos Kingy can score to and I've seen no signs of that from Sergio. I'll be interested to see how Odhiambo and McKay do now they're back in tandem and whether Hayes can get through 90 minutes on the left wing. Ferreira starting on the right makes another point of interest.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 I was thinking of going, so I can see Ferreira and Djeziri at least once before they leave, how much does it cost?
