lcfc_jme Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Another heavy defeat for them today, this time 5-0 at home to West Ham. They're on 6 points with a goal-difference of -26, yes that's MINUS TWENTY-SIX, after 13 games and haven't scored in their last 5. Surely one of you out there must be feeling slightly sorry for them? It can't be much fun for them having to endure that week-in, week-out, that's for sure.
Brainy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 They may be our rivals but i'd say this to anybody in their situation - they're an embarrasment to the Premiership.
Joe. Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007  I absolutely love it. I suppose there is a downside to getting promoted, getting battered every week an all that, but Derby are taking the piss.
Leicester Lass Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Not at all. Hearing Derby 0 West Ham 5 was just about the only thing that made me smile at today's game
Nath Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 It always lighten's our day's up when we lose, to hear they have lost...heavily.
Tevez Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Think their all bling bling with Adidas Kits and Dean Leacock in their team.
Floating Fox Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Never. Looks like a few of there fans have exiled as well Chants of "Derbyshire lalala" were heard at the Gresley v Alsager today. Mighty chants of ALSAGER LALALA were given in response Can't blame the Derby fans though Gresley looked like a decent outfit despite loosing 0-1 to the mighty side and apparently having there worst game of the season Oh and they have a mascot called Elvis Gresley. Now that is cool. Sorry for the tangent, but it's a worthwhile one
Simi Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Alsager town. Alasger town You pick me up You pick me up When I am down When I am down *inster other words.*
The Reverend Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 No it doesnt! Still rather be in their position than ours.
MC Prussian Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 As much as it's a delight seeing them losing it week in, week out, I still envy them because they get to play up there in that wonderful league. TV money and additional cash make it a worthwile season, still. I fear that the gap between the Premier League and the Championship will become bigger and I don't even want to think about what it'd look like if we were up there. We'd even do worse...
Monk Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 No, lets face it, it's hilarious. It was the only thing that brightened up my day yesterday
BigGibbo Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 No, lets face it, it's hilarious. It was the only thing that brightened up my day yesterday
Durnerz Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 I had a bit of a titter to myself at that result. Their defending was piss poor.

We'd even do worse... Bear in mind they'll have shedloads of parachute money to tide them over in the Championship next season. They could easily bounce straight back up, just as Sunderland did last season after the worst season in Premiership history, and Watford look like doing this time around.
James. Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Bear in mind they'll have shedloads of parachute money to tide them over in the Championship next season. Would I be completely off the mark thinking parachute payments no longer happen? I'm sure I heard something about last season being the last time they would be paid.
Asha Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Yeah Derby are shite, but if we went up last season we would have been crucified every week as well. We are getting the point where there will be a 23 team Premiership, where the same 3 teams are either promoted or relegated each season. For example, Birmingham, Sunderland and Derby will probably go down this year, and Watford, Charlton and Sheff Utd are still likely to go up. Teams like Burnley and Preston North End will stay in this division for eternity.

There is still hope for teams in the lower leagues..
Darkzzz_ Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Do i feel sorry for the sheep shaggers?? It is lovely the way they are always slagging us off and saying stick to your own fizzy pop league.... when they are just a fizzy pop team playing in the big league... and they get dicked every week.... They are awfull.... Worst team i have ever seen in the premiership.... I will be so happy to see them back next season.... let's face it we will be having this fixture next season.... Derby fook off cos you really are a wank team.... you bring shame on the premiership.... End of.....
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 To a small extent I think it's funny, BUT at least they're in the Premiership and when they come down to The Championship again they'll have Steve Howard, Kenny Miller and Robert Earnshaw... players I'd bend over backwards to have at City
NFFC Chris Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Yeah the gulf is becoming even more huge and I'd actually be in our position than getting humiliated in the premiership ever week like D*rby.D*rby are so bad that even I've stopped laughing at them now!
MC Prussian Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Can you actually bet on Derby's final goals-against number comes the end of the season?
isaidno Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 It says in the paper that they are being taken over by Disney
